I hope that's all it is, for his sake. On replay, Wilcox stretched out on a long rebound and kicked/stepped on it. And it bent a way ankles shouldn't bend. It looked like it could easily be a break.
Did he roll onto the sideline and look at his knee without blinking for 45 straight seconds (see: dirk 2003 playoffs injury)
Fuck you Wilcox. Fucking thug piece of shit move there.
if a spur player gets hurt now I am going to have to hunt you down!
Come on, that was not intentional.Quote:

I wouldn't be suprised to hear its a broken ankle, he stepped into that ankle HARD.
Was it like Duncan's injury back in Detroit in '05?
If that's all it was he'll be lucky. That looked ugly.Quote:

duncan went for a put-back and landed on (I think) big ben's foot on that one. Also unintentional and completely unavoidable :[Quote:

But, seriously, replay makes that look like a break. It was an ugly thing to see slow motion.
Dirk will be back to start the second half.
:lolQuote:

Exactly my thinking. Has he really missed more than a couple of games after the really severe one?Quote:

Doubtfull to return tonight.
Sprained ankle, getting XRays right now
Sideline reporter chick says he won't be back this game.
Rashard Lewis, injured tendon in his right hand.
The players are falling like rocks, wow.
So much for the Sonics win :lol
Dirk misses one game tops.
I say hes back for the next game.
Dude loves the attention.
Diop banged into Wilcox (actually looked like a foul), knocking Wilcox back and off balance. Wilcox was just trying to keep his feet after getting hit. It's a shame that Dirk was stepped on, but it wasn't anything but a chain reaction caused by the contact Diop made on Wilcox.
Becky Hammon is the hottest basketball player in the world, hands down.
Well that certainly looked nasty. That was some 90 degree angle action going on there. Hope it ain't too bad, but easjer said, that could've easily been a break.
And to top it all off, there should have not even been a rebound situation in the first place. Stack tripped and was not even touched and should not have been shooting FTs.Quote:

it was not intentional by wilcox, he lost his footing and stepped sideways into dirk. i doubt he even saw him as he lost his balance.Quote:

Didn't come across as the brightest...
How did Dirk not break a bone in his ankle??
Supposedly XRay is negative.
Man, he is one lucky son of a bitch
hope he gets well soon..hate to see injuries
I remember when Timmy sprained his ankle in Detroit in '05. It was a chain reaction like this one was that Diop initiated. Rasho pushed Rasheed in the back and Rasheed was forced under Tim. Tim came down on Sheed's foot.
awwwww that sucks.
Ouch! Feel better Dirk.Quote:

yeeeaa, highly doubt that. Just because some ignorant ass fans are coming on here talking shit about the guy who did it doesn't mean Cubans a fucking idiot and can't see with his own two eyes that it wasn't on purpose.Quote:

Hill is desperate.
Mike Wilks is in the game :lol
After reading the thread in the NBA forum, I thought it was going to be something really horrible. Now that I've seen it, it looks like a pretty standard ankle-fucking, nothing more. Nothing that'll keep him out more than 10 games. Prob less.
BTW, did Seattle fans boo Dirk too when he twisted the ankle?
Will GEICO pay for that?
I know Spurs fans are silently rejoicing. :lol
dude, you are going to get coal for xmas.Quote:

If Dirk's out by next Thursday, then it will give Mavs fans an excuse if the Suns win... with the blizzard and Dirk's ankle - Suns just can't catch a break :lol

Just find it ironic that Dirk went down before Tim did this year when all the Mavs fans talked about in the summer was how the Spurs are old, thus easy to succumb to injuries through the season.Quote:

Fact remains the Spurs have a fuckload of problems with the Mavs and they have yet to prove otherwise. :wakeup

Quote me on that bitch! :rolleyes The Mavs will control the tempo of the Jan 5th ball game and if your spurs want to win they will have to make a come from behind effort to do so unless Dirk is hurt. If Dirk is healthy it literally comes down to if the Mavs can sustain the lead! :froQuote:

The fact that the Mavs can't close out the Spurs for good seems to be a problem for you guys, don't you think? You can't call us out for our weaknesses if you can't close us out yourselves.Quote:
