Nocioni would be perfect for the spurs as well,if the spurs can do something as a third party.Quote:

They can´t be worse tham right now anyways.
Isn't that the idea - get rid of Gasol, tank the rest of the season and get Greg Oden with the #1 pick?!Quote:

you gotta believe.
You guys start a new Gasol thread every couple days, so I'm going to keep merging them into this one.
Celtics trade - Theo Ratliff and 1st round pick to Memphis, and Delonte West to Spurs
Grizzlies trade - Pau Gasol to Boston
Spurs trade - Beno Udrih to Memphis, 1st round pick, Luis Scola's rights and cash to Boston
Not a perfet trade but maybe if everyone was desperate enough. Delonte West has a lot of Beno's problem but is a more consitent from behind the arc, and I think with Pop beating him down he could be a really good backup. Plus with Pop might be able to get more out of it.
Scola, first rounder, Udrih for Delonte West?! We're getting killed in that deal!
yeah tell memphis to throw in warrick. by the way I hate scola
Wow.....just wow
Um...the whole bench excluding barry and all the draft picks for 3 years...Quote:

Why would MEM even need a third-party like SA to participate in the deal when they can just deal directly with BOS to get what they want in return for Gasol?
<> In return for Gasol, MEM would want a young C/PF who can replace Gasol in the starting lineup. You can be sure they'd demand one of Jefferson or Perkins.
gasol WONT go to Boston.PeriodQuote:

It's tough to make the kind of money he does and work out a deal where he goes to a legit contender (Chicago being the only team in that category), because a team would have to sacrafice alot to get him.Quote:

BTW....Gasol doesn't have a no-trade clause in his contract, so short of telling Boston "I won't report" he has no leverage.
well,It could happen that he wont play 100% if he ends up in another shity team, just trying to get traded once again.Quote:

right now each side is just trying to sweat out the other side.
Boston can offer some talent, but not a compareable expiring contract like Brown's. and they for sure won't offer their 2007 1st round pick, who might turn into Oden or Durant.
at the end of the day, Gasol will be a Bull and the Bulls will be no.1 in the East.
