The greatest thing about this streak is that it shows that the "small ball" lineup can play pretty good defense.
This year is not like last year, where the Spurs doesn't have an answer for quick power forwards.
On the other hand, I am not sure how the Spurs can guard Yao or Shaq, Oberto perhaps?
The Spurs haven't had to go "small" much during the streak. They normally have had 2 bigs out there at all times.Quote:

Then it simply isn't small ball. Pop took Rasho and Nazr completely out of the lineup and did it in the middle of a playoff series against a a good team. The Spurs adjusted to it on the fly and actually improved by the end of the series; any group is going to improve with some time together. I reject the use of the term for that reason.Quote:
