tp out again?
yeah, he's out for the rest of the road trip.
Go Spurs Go!
this game is not a sure thing. portland has some effective players and it IS the second night of a back to back, even though we've been looking better in those recently. also, our offense wasn't especially inspiring last night.
Too bad, Roy is playing good and Bibby is gaining confidence..Quote:

Johnny Ludden: Parker back tonight
Tony Parker looked good in pregame warmups, so Pop has decided to include him on the active roster.
Parker's return is a bit of a surprise given that yesterday it appeared almost certain he would be out at least one more game.
Robert Horry will be inactive keeping with Pop's plan to try to rest him on the second night of back-to-backs.
ha, ouch. immediately proven wrong.
I think this game is important for a win will give the Spurs a double-digit winning streak. A huge confidence booster for the rest of the season.
how many more games on the road trip?
Could someone do a play-by-play? This game isn't broadcasted. Grrrr.
NBA League Pass, and Kens 5 local, for TV.
Channel 756 on Directv BTW.

I can try to do the play by play. I've never done it before...
I am not completely sure but you can probably go to NBA.com and click on the game and then do game cast. It gives you play by play , shot location etc...Quote:

i like yahoo's gamechannel...it allows you to switch between multiple games very quickly.
Yes Parker's back.... We shall all be witnesses to the greatest player EVER!
Spurs win tip, , blocking foul on Roy against Elson. Dicey call.
dallas is having some problems against NJ and especially Vince Carter! 61-60 with 3 min remaining in the 3rd qtr.
sorry man, go to espn.com , click on NBA, click on see full score board go to the spurs game and click gamecast.
Francisco misses first, makes second 1-0 Spurs
Roy top of key 3 as shot clock expires 3-1 Portland
Duncan misses pick and roll bank shot, then some Blazer shoots an airball
I will have to try that. I travel a lot so I utilize this in the airport.Quote:

Idoka hits runner on Bowen, Bruce near turnover, Tony hits really hard shot from left baseline
Blazers are hitting their shots

This can't last, right? This is kind of painful to watch.
THe Blazers kids are unstoppable!!!!
Near Parker turnover, gets the ball back, bricks a jumper from the right wing,
Aldridge hits jumper for Portland on Timmy,
Timmy scores from right side on a drive to the basket on Aldridge,
Jack hits from top of the key on Tony,
Tim feeds Elson backdoor for a lay up
Randolph tries baseline three misses, but they get the rebound and Aldridge hits a jumper
Tim scores on a banker from right beating a double team
Randolph scores inside on Elson
Tony throws it a wasy to Jack, Portland runs a crappy fast break and Elson blocks a shot out of bounds.
I'm following the play by play on yahoo and it's already painful...Quote:

21-15 Portland
Manu misses lay up from left looking for a foul, Manu gets called for reaching foul on other end
just very sloppy.
Is this on television?????
Blazers have already 8 assists!
Blazers are on fire!
this udoka character is eating us alive. he was in the d-league last year!
Did the blazers put vaseline on the backboard? The ball is bouncing funny on TD's bankshot.
Where is the defense?
Udoka hits another jumper from left, Timmy misses bank shot from left, Magloire misses baseline J, Duncan throws it way to Fred Jones and Udoka scores fastbreak lay up
Manu gets fouled on reverse lay in by Magloire
25-15!!!
Nevermind ....found it
I'm watching it on League Pass, but I've heard it's also on KENSQuote:

25-15, free throws coming for Manu I believe. Portland hitting a lot of open shots and we're turning it over too much
why are we gettin wax-on here
meanwhile, dallas is pulling away from new jersey, of course
does anyone want me to keep doing this?
i'm watching it on yahoo, aaron, so don't do it for my sake. if i want to know how something specific looked, i'll probably just ask.
As long as you're not tired of doing it, why not? I can't watch the game where I am.Quote:

Manu drives on Udoka scores easily on lay up
Oberto fouls Magloire inside, nonshooting. 25-19
if it's not too demanding, why not?Quote:

Manu feeds Finley for baseline three, good! 25-22
Oberto called for looseball foul on a rebound of Magloire's missed baseline jumper from left.
god bless the rejuvenated michael finley
Spurs over the limit regarding fouls?
Magloire shooting freethrows, misses first, makes second 26-22
Manu misses a jumper from right going for a 2 for 1
Rodriguez hits baseline 3 over Oberto 29-22
Rodriguez fouls Vaughn with foul to give
7 seconds left, Parker back in, and Bonner for Fab
Finley misses double pump fake jumper from left
1st quarter over 29-22 Portland
by the way, the end of the game between Lakers and TWolves is exciting!
97-96 with 8 sec remaining
bonner getting some early run here, sort of. we'll see if it lasts into the second quarter or if this is just situational.
wtf, we let a team shoot 68% in a qtr?
at least I take comfort in knowing that FG% won't last forever
29 pts in 1qtr, it's been a long time that a team hasn't scored that much against the Spurs and I can't believe it's the Blazers...
I read earlier that EVERY team gets pumped up to play the Spurs, they are right.
The NBA media and writers may not give the Spurs the respect they deserve, but ALL NBA teams and players out on the court, respect the Spurs. They are the most respected team by other players in the NBA.
The Spurs are giving up too many easy jump shots for the Blazers.
2nd qtr not starting very good
According to box score the Spurs only had 3 rebounds in the 1st quarter.
Being outrebounded 7-3
outassisted 10-5
Fred Jones alley ooop reverse dunk from Rodriguez
Finley hits jumper
Magloire fouled on other end, hits first free throw, misses second 32-24
That was a sweet jam by Jones.
wtf with all these turnovers and off rebounds?
not feeling too comfortable with this line up..
Bonner throws it away, Webster misses 3 from left wing, Portland gets the ball out of bounds, OUtlaw misses Jumper, Elson gets blocked by Outlaw, Vaughn gets ball and bricks a jumper.
Magloire scores on offensive rebound
Vaughn misses runner, Elson misses put back, Vaughn misses again, out of bounds to Spurs
Manu misses double clutch jumper from top of key
Bonner fouls Maglorie inside. Not looking good folks. 34-24
Ugghhhh, Maybe it's better that I can't watch this.
ginobiliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!
Bring Timmy back!!
if spurs do not start stoping blazers
that half time speech will be heard all the way in az
Magloire misses first, makes second. 35-24
Tony feeds Finley for baseline three, misses
Jones misses lay up on other end
Ginobili with end to end lay up
Outlaw hits jumper 37-26, timeout
Blazers hitting all their long jumpers is nonsense...
