that was easily his most emphatic dunk in two years. He actually slammed it in traffic which he hadn't done in a while. I guess we can expect to see that in the playoffs...
he's kind of become the Robert Horry of dunking.
Manu Freakin Ginobili! Simply amazing! Thanks for the great video!
yeah, heh in the Clippers game he jumped high enough to slam the ball down, his hand was above the rim, but it was just all finesse throwing the ball in. I think he's really making it a point not to throw it down on everyone yet like in traffic. Just to be safe.
Some of those highlights from his Euroleague days were just the same stuff he does over here. Blocks, steals, behind the backs around the defenders.Quote:

I guess I thought the youtube link was tonight's dunk, although tonight's dunk was sort of in there...just against a different opponent.
NBA.com may post a more complete set of highlights later.
No, he's not. Ever since his foot injuries in 2005 he hasn't really been as aggressive to the basket and hasn't really had any good jams in a while. There might be one every so often, but not like it was when he was just in attack mode. It was definitely good to see him flash back to his earlier days in the L. Gettin his confidence back, not worrying about reaggrivating his foot or his back.Quote:

The game ended after midnight Eastern Standard Time. ESPN and NBA are U.S. east coast based so late highlights often don't make it, especially when it carries over to the next day.

yeah i dont think we will see a video,
but i just found this pix
Yeah, that was the worst RECAP I've ever seen on NBA.com.Quote:

NBA.com's just showed like a Timmy drive at the end when we were still down by 8 or so, which wasn't even part of the Manu-led barrage that claimed the lead.
And they had the nerve for us NBA Fans, just to mention over the player statistic sheet, "Oh yeah, and btw, Spurs were down by about 7 or 8 points. Then Manu did some stuff and the Spurs shot a few threes.. And were up 97-93 towards the end. " and not showing any of that.
nice.:spin Though I wish they had a better angle.Quote:

Saludos.
I think another big factor in the run was Switching Bowen over to Roy. He had been killing us and Bowen completely shut him down in the last 2.30 minutes of the game.
Nice. :downspin:Quote:

I missed the last 2 minutes of the game. I went downstairs to get something to eat...and by the time I got back...the Spurs were up all of a sudden...just great....missed the greatest game of the year
they just showed the highlights on WOAI (Don Harris). Apparently, lots of fans have contacted Don and requested to show the hightlights of last night's game. Well, they got their wish. Don ONLY showed the bigtime 4th quarter highlights. Damn, Manu put on a "clinic"
damn it. was that on tv? or online?
THANK YOU!!! I WAS WATCHING THE GAME ON NBA LEAGUE PASS AND THOSE FUCKING UP NORTH FAGGOT ASS COMMENTATORS WERE KILLING ME! THE SAID THE SPURS WERE "NOTHING" AND THAT ALL WE DO IS COMPLAIN? MAN, I WANTED TO KICK THE TV BECAUSE OF THOSE GUYS! THEY CAN GO BACK TO THEIR "HOT TEA" AND "BAD WEATHER" FOR ALL I CARE!Quote:

shi-----, you outta know by now NBA's coverage is suspect, idiotic moneychangers with nothing above their brainstems but moldy old confetti from NY and Boston championships.Quote:

"if you don't want him on your team, you need a urine-alysis" - great sean-ism.
The great thing about the dunk was that it TOTALLY set the table for that late, swooping finger roll under Aldridge. Manu knew that he was going to try to get his shot, so when Marcus extended, Manu just adjusted and went under his arm off the glass. Schweet. :)

Dude... I don't ever remember them saying the Spurs were "nothing" or anything even close to that. They were fairly complimentary of the Spurs.Quote:

WHAT??? IT WAS B4 HALFTIME, THEY SAID "TAKE AWAY THE SPURS HELP DEFENSE AND THE SPURS ARE NOTHING." THEN THEY KEPT POINTING OUT HOW ALL THE SPURS DO IS "WORK" THE OFFICIALS AND COMPLAIN ALL THE TIME. ANOTHER TIME THEY SAID, "AND THERE IS BOWEN COMPLAINING TO THE OFFICIALS AGAIN!" THEN THE OTHER FAGGOT SAID, "WELL WHAT DO YOU EXPECT, HE'S A SAN ANTONIO SPUR."Quote:

Okay, well I couldn't figure out how to record streaming video so I did it the old bootleg way. I took a digitial camera and recorded a low quality video of a low quality streaming video. I'm sorry for the quality, but at least those who didn't have chance to catch it first, now can get an idea what this whole thread was about. I even signed up for a youtube account just so I could post this video, so please no comments about poor quality. Here goes:

Cool! that did seem like a momentum changing dunk. Reminded me of the 2005 cut ups.
That Gino layup at the end was sick, I still havent seen the dunk though
Thanke for the clip. It was awesome. I had not watched the game so it was great seeing those 5 straight 3s and Manu's facial.Quote:

Thanx for the link. That dunk reminded me the manu of the 2005 playoffs.
Manu is coming to play for what it counts. The Trophy.
Tks for the link :clap
Remember when he had a similar (well, nastier version) dunk in 2004-2005 at Staples Centles vs the Lakers? And Spurs won the title that season. :toast
Can we start the 6th Man Award chant now...
Gracias! i think we were all waiting for someone to find this video. :clapQuote:
