Why was Robert Horry boed everytime he came in to play by the Kings fans?
I believe Steve Kerr explained that during the broadcast... something about Horry putting an end to the Kings' only chance at a championship...
I love it when our players get booed on the road... it means they're bad ass.
I thought that was obvious?
It's in the topic one-shot heartbreaks or something too...
I've never heard of a player being BOED :smokin

LOL kingfans were getting choked up and red in the face from booing. losers!
kobe's reaction in the horry shot is pretty damn priceless
Let's be honest. 99% of us were cheering for the Kings that game. That was a dagger and even I felt it.
of course. everyone was cheering for them. Lakers should have only won one ring.
damn you blazers and kings

dagger of all daggers???????
horry vs pistons?
fisher vs spurs?
jordan vs cavs?
I was referring to the most painful memory not the most unbelievable shot to hurt the other team. I don't care for the pistons, or the spurs, and I was actually a fan of the Bulls.
How about Kerr vs. Mavs ?
(over and over again)
The mavs didn't have a chance to win that series. They were lucky to take it as far as they did. No Dirk=no way.Quote:

Nope. I was going for LA all the way in that series. I hate the Lakers with a passion, but I wanted our boys to be the one to end their run, and I didn't want some scrub-ass franchise full of whiners to take that opportunity from the Spurs. Still, I loved it when Christie fucked Fox's pretty-boy ass up on national tv 5 months later.Quote:

Yes they did. They were very tough that year. They would've own the Nets if they got by the great lakers team.Quote:

If Divac just wraps up that rebound instead of getting cute, this famous play never happens.
Divac did the right thing in gettng the ball the hell away from the basket in he first place (considering the 6 seconds of chaos beforehand). Horry was just at the right place at the right time.Quote:

Outside of the NBA Finals, this may be my favorite Spurs game of all time.Quote:

But in hindsight. I'm glad Spurs were the ones to end the Lakers Championship. I mean, if the Kings won, then Tim wouldn't have made Kobe cry! :lol
and no one can take that away from the Spurs now. So, that Horry dagger was a blessing in disguise for Tim's career. Plus, ending a back to back championship, probably is less painful, than getting a 4 peat taken away from you.
um and your point is? 5 years ago was then, this is now. get over it already.Quote:

You lose that series, even with Dirk. That was our season and all the Dirk Nowitzki's and Steve Nash's in the world wouldn't have saved you.Quote:
