Manu>Duncan so far this year. No way Duncan has a chance at this years MVP.
And no way is Manu greater than Duncan--As much as we all love Manu on the floor, his job is to come in and provide energy and scoring--Duncan's responsiblities are far and beyond greater than anything Manu brings--Duncan is the anchor of the team on both offense and defense.Quote:

As per usual, Bucher is all over the board:
On the MVP:
Bucher: Steve Nash. Just because the voters screwed up and didn't recognize Kobe Bryant last year doesn't mean Nash should pay the price this year, when he deserves it more than ever before. The arguments I hear for Dirk is that he's the best player on the best team and that "he's due," as if he's accrued brownie points over the years.

Finals MVP is not a regular season award, and I was referring to regular season awards.Quote:

How many games off the bench does Manu need to qualify?Quote:

Wow read the writer round up on espn.com right now....ric bucher is the biggest idiot.
Out of the 5 writers on the article, he sticks out like a sore thumb....AND Hollinger is in there.
I would love to see Manu win that award because he really does deserve it and does a lot for this team but I don't think he's going to win it (especially with the very few minutes that he gets as it already is). Ben Gorden is averaging more points and Leandro Barbosa is having a great year and averaging a little more than Manu is right now. Maybe if he had some more minutes and a few more shots he could get it.Quote:
