I made this thread in response to a seperate boardie who was honking Pops being soooo smart for sitting everyone "like he always does till their second year so they can learn the D system." Sure it's helped some like SJack and Bowen, but don't even make it a requirement.

wake up. we had prime TD then big 3 in their primes back then. You could plug in pretty much any scrub and end up with the same result. (Ginobili the exception to this)

nowadays we have no prime TD and no more big 3. So there is no more luxury of plugging guys in.

I do agree Pop is way too rigid. I mean how many fucking times is he going to keep trotting out Bonner out there and expect different results?

Popped not only had the Prime Big 3 he had some of the best rolies ever. Bob Horry hands down. Bruce Bowen.
