So....
Can we now gloat about Dallas even more??
I love how the game's tomorrow!! This first round is non-stop EASY SLEEP NIGHTS! so far! I'm really enjoying being on TOP for once, and not the one worrying about my team at the moment!!! since they've shown up to play!
as long as you serve it up each day...Quote:

Did anyone see that?
Was that Carmello crying in the locker room??
I love the Yahoo story title: 'Big Shot Rob' lifts Spurs again
I'm really going to be bummed when Horry retires :(
Damn, society is amazing. Now-a-days you hear about something and in seconds you can see how it actually happend with pics and videos from 5-6 different angles.
Damn. The Spurs done ruined him.Quote:

Wow...what a game! The Nugs refused to go quietly.
Horry's 3 was a thing of beauty...that dagger likely just sealed this series for the Spurs.
Oh, BTW...this is my first post here...wish I had joined earlier, but hey, I'm here now, right? My wife and I have been Spurs fans since back in the day, well before they won their first title in '99...she went to high school with David Robinson (OP in Manassas, VA), so we always root for the Spurs, even though Robinson is no longer with the team.
GO SPURS GO!!! :flag:
Impressive numbers in the end. After being killed on the boards almost all night long, the Spurs fight back to tie in total rebounds and end up with MORE offensive rebounds than the Nuggs.
Iverson and Camby were 11-19 from the floor in the first half and 17-32 from the floor through three quarters, but finished only 20-43 for the night. Not great, but solid improvment through the night that proved to make a huge difference.
They survived Nene going 7-9 from the floor.
And they survived Eddie F. Rush.
Pretty good all the way around.
Fantastic win and finish by the Spurs. Really showed their mental tougness.
:rolleyes Didn't Magic Johnson say Nuggets will win the series...... :lol
My thoughts so far:
Smallball works GREAT in small doses. It completely fucked up Denver's momentum to start the fourth quarter. This is what the Smallball critics have been asking for since last year.
Pop has been brilliant in this series. He waited until right before the inbounds play to insert Finley for Bowen, which made everyone key off him and not the guy who was standing on the other side of the court. Then, when Denver was expecting Parker to stand there and dribble the ball, looking at the shot clock, he went to the hole, forcing Camby to make a decision. Brilliant. As critical as I've been of Pop on this board, I refuse to believe that the above was anything other than carefully orchestrated.
Third, all of you that turned on Duncan in the first half need to go become Nuggets fans. Duncan completely set up Camby like a good pitcher does to the opposing batters. Camby feasted on the blocks for the first half and just completely fell victim to the pump fake in the second half where Timmy did his damage. Duncan did an excellent job of (finally) shutting up and just playing his game. I love when he gets pissed!
