Me too.
The Spurs advanced to the second round first so, technically The Spurs are coming after The Suns.
I just checked the schedule. The Spurs definitely have to fly to Phoenix for two games to start the series, so the Spurs are definitely coming for the Suns. Real nice of them, too. I think they even paid for their own travel costs. Probably staying at the Biltmore, though.
Somebody better get this shit straight before it drags out into a M.F....
Is anyone coming tonight?
The Suns have a high flying flashy offense. Big deal.
The Spurs are the dominant defensive team in the league. Great defenses play good or great offenses all the time. But in this day and age of flash over function, great offenses don't see great defenses nearly as often. I'm not saying the Spurs will sweep the Suns, though they probably could. But the Suns won't make it past round 2.
Nash, Stoudemire and Barbossa are great players, don't get me wrong. But the Spurs have proven time and again that they can run with teams like Phoenix. They can also do what Phoenix can't: play defense. The Spurs will slow them down and force Phoenix to play their game, and that will be the downfall of the Phoenix Suns yet again.
My prediction: Spurs in 5.

Just exactly what makes this Suns team so much better than Sun teams of the past few years?
I love their style and I love to watch em play. But don't think they are going to "just show up and run over the Spurs". I do believe the Spurs have shown in the past they have the ability to run and gun right along with em.
With Manu due for some HUGE games, and Finley hitting his stride, along with Tim's defense and skills around the bucket, I think I really like the Spurs chances.
In fact, the Spurs could own HCA by 6:30 p.m., ET, May 05, 2007.
The Suns are a good team but have never been a problem for the Spurs. See ya Sunday.
oh snap!!! you mean the season is still going?? I would of sworn it was over last night with all the confetti and celebration lol. let us enjoy dallas being humilliated first please.
The Suns are afraid of us. They know how great the Spurs are and that they are capable of winning on the road with no prob.
Just like the sun rises everyday like clockwork ....IT ALSO SETS!!!!!!
and when you got a TOTAL ECLIPSE like the SPURS!!!!!!!!!!! You better take in all the rays before they get there!
The Suns won't shine in this series
Damn, my inbox was full.Quote:

There will be practicaly no defense thrown at them, so I expect Manu and TP to run with the suns when given the chance. Plust we have a healthy Tim Duncan and Mike adn Horry are playing great also. It just seems things are falling into place for the spurs at the moment.
