Horry is the guy you want on your team. Always has been, and still is. Anyone who has ever been on his team loves him, and any fan of the game has to appreciate him. My only regret is that he didn't kick Nash's ass when he took Bowen down from behind earlier in the game. (Sort of like Dexter Clinkscale knocking Terrell Owens' ass off the star in the middle of Texas Stadium.)
Horry gave Nash a hard foul, but you see fouls that hard around the basket all the time. (No easy points in the playoffs.) If Nash had been going to the rack, and Horry gave him that same hip-check out the end of the court, there is no possibility that it would have been called flagrant. Zero. Without delivering a blow to the head, or throwing a player to the ground, it would just never be called a flagrant. So what makes you think that a single hip-check would matter a rat-fart to the legacy that Horry has given the game?
