As a Laker fan, I am not a fan of either SA or PHO but definitely am a fan of good basketball and not of dirty play and flopping, which is way too prevalent in today's NBA.
We all know there are many NBA players who have perfected flopping, but the stuff Bowen does (undercutting shooters) is just wrong, wrong, and pathetic. But commit 10000 dirty acts on a bball court and it's absolutely fair game and a factual statement to say that person is simply a dirty player.
You do realize he's the only perimeter player that takes his defensive role seriously every game. No other player is asked to do what Bowen does. Ergo, no other player is even in good enough position to consistently challenge shooters or plays. Having said that, how many people's ankles has Bowen twisted... 1? That's part of his close position on them but to acuse him of blantantly trying to injure folks is false.
Carter blatantly lied about being hurt by Bowen and couldn't backpedal fast enough. Plus don't pretend Carter never vented his frustrations against Bowen with shady tactics... who was the dirty one then? Unfortunately, all that will be remembered is the allegation itself.
Bowen's kick to the back on Ray Allen was one of Bowen's only truly dirty plays but it was done in retaliation to Ray's trip, and two elbows that weren't called by the refs.
Don't pretend to know the situation when the media only gives one side of the story.

I would like to add that I was being sarcastic when I mention the league office. I know no Spur is going to complain about that stuff to the media or the league.

Bowen doesn't do it every time, but every player does it.

99.999% of shooters go straight up and down.
Some of the Bowen excuses you guys come up with are just comical. Anyone with eyes not tainted by black and silver can see what a dirty player is. Anyone.
