there's only an * if you aren't the one holding up the larry o'brien at the end.
think sir charles would give a fuck about some internet numbnuts saying his ring should have an * on it? how about malone? the * is a crutch for the fans of teams sans rings.

Look at David Hasselhoff attack that burger the way we attacked teams during the regular season. Hasselhoff 67, Burger 15:

Re: Spurs 2007 NBA Champions **
Why are Mavs fans in here? You complete and thoroughly idiotic losers, get to work. Do something with your miserable lives. You people are the ultimate bottom fodder fans. Your team is the most miserable disgrace in NBA history. You guys will NEVER sniff a championship.

Re: Spurs 2007 NBA Champions **
I know how you're feeling. Your team has no chance of regaining their respectability. There's nothing they can do, and you're helpless over it.
I guess you could keep pretending it's not real. Why don't you call the Petersons and ask them how they do it?

Did you not read what I just wrote? Get out of here and seek employment or a relationship. Right now, Mav fan, you are the Atlanta Hawks' bitch. Your team is a disgusting joke right now. You guys have no business even sniffing these boards.

Re: Spurs 2007 NBA Champions **
lol...i seriously cannot believe that Mavericks fans have the guts to speak about anything related to basketball, much less try and take the high road in this years playoffs.
The Dallas Mavericks will go down in history for being an absolute JOKE for longer than you and i are probably alive.
how can it be any worse? You get the moniker of being a complete joke...and you still have nothing to show for it.

Re: Spurs 2007 NBA Champions **
Look, I know this kind of victory stings. It's better to face it now, as opposed to an entire years worth of suffering and ridicule. I'm a mavs fan, so I know about the pain you're going through. We choked and lost it all. You didn't win on the court, you couldn't have won on the court without raping the suns. So sad to see the spurs dwell at the bottom of the barrel. My how the mighty have fallen.

Tell you what. We as Spurs fans will commit ourselves to finding the real champions, just like OJ is committed to finding the real killers. We have a lead they will be somewhere around the San Antonio Riverwalk in mid-June. If we find the Phoenix Suns there, we will let you know.

You are an idiot! This kind of victory, what a playoff victory? I know you don't know what that feels like, but maybe next year bitch! If you have valid points, make them, if not STFU!

We lost to a bunch of fluke players making fluke shots, and the refs screwed us but good. Enough with the Spurs and their 3 rings talk and how that makes them a "dynasty." The Mavericks are the true Dynasty. The late eighties Maverick teams featuring Rolando Blackman and Mark Aguirre represent the greatest dynasty in all of U.S. pro sports history. To wit:
1) 5 straight winning seasons
2) 1986-87 Midwest Division champs
3) Appeared in 1988 Western Conference Finals
4) Roy Tarpley, 87-88 Sixth Man of the Year
5) Dallas' Reunion Arena was host of the 1986 NBA All Star Game
6) Strong at Center with reliable big man James Donaldson
Your serve Spurs fan. You just got owned.

The Warriors were a beastly juggernaut after the trade: 16-5 down the stretch. So temporarily, until Baron gets hurt again, they are the best team in the NBA because they beat us, and we're now the 2nd best team in the League. Spurs are a distant third. Just be glad that Utah got all the calls against Golden State because the Warriors would sweep the Spurs, or at the very worst take San Antonio in five games.

It's ok to lash out, in fact it's important to the healing process. You have to cleanse your souls of pretentious beliefs before you can take the necessary steps to embracing the truth. This will not be an easy process, but I want you to know that I will stand by you until this cancer can be lifted. I have faith that you all will recognize the rigging of this series has put it on a level with pro wrestling. Lets try and save the NBA.

Well, let's go it through it position by position:
Derek Harper > Tony Longoria. I give a slight edge to Longoria on speed and ability to get into the paint, but Harper is a better floor general.
Manu Ginobili > Rolando Blackman. Actually, this is a bit of a tossup. Sure, I give the slight edge to Manu NOW, but Blackman is 47 years old. But I could just as easily pick Blackman. Oh, we're talking Blackman in his prime? He crushes Manu.
Mark Aguirre > Bruce Bowen. Aguirre, the Wrath of God, the Real Deal. Do we even have to debate this?
Tim Duncan = Roy Tarpley. Okay, so here you guys draw even.
James Donaldson > Fabricio Oberto. Not even close.
We bring Brad "White Lightning" Davis, Sam Perkins, Detlef Schrempf and Uwe Blab off the bench. You guys "counter" with Finley, Barry, Elson and Bonner. Pardon me if I don't laugh.
The 1987-88 Dallas Mavericks. Best.Team.Ever
