This is the reason the interview with Craig Sager was not done on the court. Was told by my friend who is a local TV camerman who was at the game.
Stay Classy, Phoenix! :nope

Yeah I saw that last night when Sager was walking up to Duncan and Ginobili then all of a sudden something hit Tim in the head and Sager ducks and walks the other way.
the only way the know how to HOSE him down! BBBBBBEEEEETCH (good)(timmmaay) is smokin their asses
Classy
class, pure class. i'd expect nothing less from the trash out there.
why am I not surprised. Sun fan is making Mav fan look classy
I was wondering why they didn't do the post game interview immediately.
Phoenix, Arizona = Detroit of the Southwest.
I guess there is one in every crowd- likely many more in this case.
I'm sorry Timmy had to deal with that. It makes me really mad actually.
I know I would love to kick Amare in the shins but I have character enough to not actually do it.
That's . . . stunning.
People actually do shit like that?
the burning question...was it a bottle of dasani?
I don't remember Detroit fans throwing shit at the Spurs.Quote:

From the title of this thread, I assumed that D'Antoni had announced that Amare will exclusively be guarding Tim for the remained of the series.

Thank god they got rid of glass beer bottles at games...
Ok, if I or some other stranger hit you in the head with a water bottle, you'd be totally cool with it?Quote:

Well I was under the impression that Tim Duncan wasn't a degenerate wife beating psychopath.
ROFL! That is exactly what I was thinking.Quote:

i hope that clown who threw the bottle gets suspended from attending any nba arena in future
They have some powerful telescopes in Arizona, and I can't find even a shred of fairness in that.Quote:

Id love to fill up a bottle of water and chunk it at said suns fan's head.
Spurs fans come hard and come loud tomorrow night. No throwing shit, but boo the hell out of em and make noise throughout.

I was working in Phoenix in 2003 and decided to go to the Suns/Spurs playoff game in which the Spurs won to close out the series. As the game wound down and it was obvious the Spurs had won, people started throwing full cups of beer/coke off the second level and onto other fans below. Niiiice!
I was looking for that pic :lolQuote:

What a waste of a water bottle... If I were there, I would have thrown Craig Sager at Timmy.

Thanks for adding value to the forum, asshatQuote:

Stay Classy Phoenix.
Where are all the Phoenix people telling us how its "only a couple of morons doing it"????
unfortunately there is more than just one in that stupid arena. The crowd there is extremely violent, stupid, arrogant (why I don't know) and just plain rude. I'm sure someone will get shot there some day.Quote:

My only surprise is that it was a water bottle and not a wine cooler. I personally doubt there is a person with a pair in the entire state.
I know NoCal is supposed to be wine country but there is more Whine in Arizona than any place on earth.
it was probably aquafinaQuote:

The booing doesn't bother me; it's part of the game. But you would think security there would find whoever threw the bottle and ban them from future games. Something like that is not only immediately dangerous, but, thrown at the wrong person, could spark a riot.
same I thought they would all lose there voice by halftime
It's easy. There's only one remedy to pay back that bottle of water. Take care of business in game 6 and blow this guys out of the face of the earth.
pic/video?
Someone actually threw something at Timmy and hit him? Must have been a female softball player...
I was hoping someone had it, too. I've already deleted the game from my DVR.Quote:

The Phoenix fans were cool during Game 1, but last night brought a beast of a different nature. They were way out of control! I know this may seem weak, but I was incredibly bothered by some guy who kept hitting me with a cheer stick. I tried being cool to no avail. Finally, midway through Q3, I had enough, grabbed it out of his hand, and popped it. I almost got kicked out of the arena over the whole thing. The whole scene was quite the spectacle.Quote:

I think we've all had enough of the Suns and their fans whining. I think the Spurs have too. It's time to end this and it will be Duncan that makes sure it gets done. Whether he fills a stat line himself or rallies his team around him won't matter. What matters is that it will get done.
I believe in Tim Duncan.
(He was incredible in Seattle that night.)
so where did u throw it from...Quote:
