Why don't they get all silver? That would be wicked.
what reliable source might this be
:lol Some people are never happy.Quote:

We should all show up without shirts, what's cheaper than that?Quote:

About DAMN TIME!!!!!!
Thanks to all us Spurs fans for the bitching.
:tu:tu That's gonna be sweet.
:lol Not that I'm not happy something is being done for the Finals, and it will be cool with the black. Just thinking the black will give the arena more of an empty feeling while all silver would be very visually loud. Good point though - cost is probably higher.Quote:

I will believe it when I see it.....thanks for the info!
I'm still waiting on my H-E-Buddy from my brother for the past three years :rolleyes
one of the things I miss about SA, H-E-B. That is the greatest grocery store.
Maybe they'll ditch the canned 2Unlimited intro for the Finals.
If true it's going to look fucking awesome.

If anyone is gonna put theirs up on eBay please let us know here first. I would love to get my hands on one, I don't even care what they look like.
BTW, what is HEB?
Black will look awesome, silver is boring.
Not from Texas i would assume?Quote:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the Heat do all white.Quote:

It won't have the effect the lighter colored shirts had, especially since the offcourt area shows up so dark on tv. It will, however, have the effect of shutting some people up, so props.
I think this is a long time coming.
One year they did white and called the slogan or whatever... "White Heat" or some sh.Quote:

i never bitched about them not doing it.
I was fine with no shirts.
So Im not included in that group thanks...
I'd think that'd be quite a sight, a sea of black.
There were groups of people wearing black shirts at several of the home games ... on TV it just looked like empty seats. :spinQuote:

I MUST be at this game now. Too bad it's during the week and not on the weekend. I will most def be pulling some strings to get tickets.
I like the blackout idea. Black is the primary spurs color or non-color.
We should go back to the fiesta colors for this series.
Yeah and we could dress up like telletubbies and put Spurs logos on our stomachs.Quote:

I do think in person that black will look pretty cool, but white would look better on TV. I wish that there would be enough people that they would set up overflow or something outside, or even open up the Alamodome or something like that to show the game for cheap cost.
Some emails and some phone calls could make that happen, just like the shirts.Quote:

Well then, now I'll buy some tickets. :lolQuote:
HEB to sponsor "Blackout" T-shirts for game 1 of the finals
I will be at game 1. I'll be sportin' the blackout gear.
Say WHAT! :oopsQuote:

Let's make sure to sell it out and have every seat filled first.
Are they going to put black shirts on the empty seats?
No....Freaking....Way!Quote:

I'm with TPark on this one. I was kind of hoping San Antonio would stay above it all.
It worked for Miami last year, so why not?Quote:

Of course, I can always just ask my managers if they know anything. Usually one of my store leaders has the info on things of this nature.
And in bold white letters, they can put ...
WITNESS THIS ... 4
(of course, that's if Cleveland comes out of the East)
I remember reading in one of the Jazz newpaper articles that they only put the blue t-shirts in the chairs in the lower arena. The upper levels didn't get any. For 19,000 shirts-- wow what a cost.
Hey, leave Tony out of this. :elephantQuote:

The people will still be white, for the most part.Quote:

The controversial "Blackface the Place" idea didn't make it out of committee.

I miss HEBs :(
The PA should play this too:

HEB was already giving away free t-shirts last night after the game on the hike to the $8 parking area. Granted they were red, but if you're just looking for a free tee...there you go. :lol
The Butts come through!
:clap I'm glad Spurs fans can some some type of unity at the game.
I wish I could be in San Antonio.
HEB is a litttle slow on stuff, they're still selling 2003 shirts...haha.
Tight! I'll be wearing mine.Quote:

Holy shit. Someone beat me to it.
I've been to almost every playoff game thus far and I have a feeling those people in the lower level (courtside) would be reluctant to wear the black tee as that might not allow them to show off their ultrafancy duds. I wear all black anyway so makes no matter to me.
Also, it'd be sorta cool if they played Back In Black by AC/DC or Blackout by Scorpions prior to game starting.....

Again, I've been to nearly every playoff game yelling and chanting defense and it just seems like it takes alot for them to be LOUD. It's not a big deal, it's just my humble opinion.
