Re: Finals Game 2: Spurs vs Cavs Official Game Blog Thread
Those are not insults, Mars. Those are facts. Check the statistics. Smell the River. The Spurs are still good. The smelly river and poor city administration does not change the fact the Spurs will win this series. I don't expect you to treat it as nothing. I expect you, like any other person who cares about where they live, will vote someone into office to change some of the negative aspects of the city for the better. That's all. Cleveland is smelly sometimes too. Its not perfect. We have crime there. The Cavs have not been good for a long time. Some parts of the city need help.

I actually don't live in SA, but the fact is bringing such things up in a Spurs forum isn't a good idea.

Don't feel too bad for him! Here in London the game runs from 02:00 - 04:30, and I have to be up for work at 08:00! It's just about acceptable to stay up for, but i've always got a slight sleep worry in the back of my mind, thus not enjoying it fully.
And I can't really go out and get wasted after we've won.
I'm not looking for a :violin but i'd love to be able to watch it at 21:00!

Jealousy is an ugly thing... and quite amusing!
Nice to see you love it here so much. Maybe one day your dreams will be realized and you'll actually get to visit the real San Antonio!

So it sounds like we all have our choice tonight - Watch the King get whacked or Watch the Boss get whacked. Of course, there's always the Cubs game on ESPN during commercials :)

Re: Finals Game 2: Spurs vs Cavs Official Game Blog Thread
Memo to Spurs fans: dont bother watching your team get their asses kicked tonight. Watch the Sopranos or go get laid. As for Cav fans, enjoy evening this series up at 1-1 tonight! :clap :)

Upset because your $5.80 per hour job at McDonalds won't allow you a trip to San Antonio?
Or is the issue that you come from a city of bloated, ignorant twits who can't field a decent football team, lacks any economic growth, sits next to an occasionally burning river and has a baseball team so terrible that a movie was made celebrating its pathetic performance?
Stay in Ohio, son.

Mars, I feel your pain. Some of the sports commentators here in SA were commenting about the low ratings, and why in the world the NBA would have started all the games at 8:00 CST. Seems to be an invitation to low ratings on the east coast. Stupid move.
