With all that Bruce has had to endure, I think he should be considered as a possible MVP canidate. Without his talent, I'm not sure that the
Spurs would be in this spot today. Go Bruce Go!!! :clap :clap

BRUUUUUUUCE for MVP! :toast :toast :toast
Agreed. That's what I've been saying. Dude has the toughest job of any Spur player and he's handled his, Period!Quote:
Bowen for MVP
Bruce for MVP!!
I'd vote for Bruce.
I think the media is already picking Parker, however. They don't realize that Parker would be averaging about eight points a game if Duncan wasn't drawing so much of the defense's attention.

I'm sure this has been commented on before, but I love the fact that when Bruce gets introduced in hostile arenas, the "Boos" sound like "Bruuuuuce!".
I also loved the Imperial March theme music for our intros. I suggest we steal it.
If Bowen performs tomorrow night like he has during these past three games, he should DEFINITELY get the MVP !!
I suggested that tune in another thread about intros before. Re: Bruce, Im for him getting the MVP because right now he IS the MVP.
Yes Bruce for MVP!
Bruce IS the MVP. Period. Noone has a tougher assignment on this Spurs team than Bruce. That's the truth.
You know, it's so often we hear this same thing.Quote:

While it is true, that the Spurs run offense through Tim, Tony has been the little engine that could, that has been making this team go on offense. Sure, Tim makes Tony better, but Tony, by Tims own admission, makes Tims life much easier too.
Simple - Bowen outscores Lebron tomorrow and Spurs clinch, give it to him.
Bowen, Duncan and Parker should get co-mvps
Manu should get a cookie
Bruce For Mvp, Who Dare Defy The Likes Of Pop And Duncan??
i played in the playground defense bruce bowen style, which is why i know he gets the toughest job, and when i do my job of neutralising the offense my team wins. NO BRUCE NO WIN, jus like no DUNCAN NO WIN, jus like no STOPS NO WIN!
I also play Bowen style in the playground. or so I think.
yeah my jumpshot sucks

I vote Bruce.
with all the hype of LeBron before this series, and his underachievement in this series, shouldn't it be obvious?
BRUCE 4 MVP
Screw my vBookie bet on Duncan.

I would love to see Bruce get MVP, but I don't think the voters will give it to him. It would be neat if Tim or Tony won it and then called Bruce up there and gave it to him.
Only Person other than Duncan i would accept is Bruce.
There's NO Way Bruce will win it. Which is too bad. He's been the hardest working guy of the Finals

Unfortunately, there is a 1% chance of this happening.
If TP has a monster game tonight, he is a real contender.Quote:
