Better hope you don't have to face any 8 seeds next year. Or choke, like in '06. Or, really, face anyone else and wait for the next stroke of "bad luck."Quote:

Express-News
The Spurs have reached agreement with Jacque Vaughn on a two-year contract that will pay him about $2.5 million, an NBA source said Monday.
Vaughn's agreement, which pays him the minimum salary for players with at least 10 seasons of experience, means the Spurs have commitments from two of their free agents. Fabricio Oberto plans to sign a three-year deal once the league's free-agent moratorium ends on July 11.
The Spurs also are continuing negotiations with forward Matt Bonner.
Vaughn, 32, joined the Spurs last season and became the team's most dependable reserve point guard since Speedy Claxton left after the 2003 championship.
Though Vaughn began the season alternating games on the inactive list with Eric Williams, he eventually replaced Beno Udrih as Tony Parker's backup.
In 64 games, Vaughn averaged 3.0 points, 2.0 assists and 11.9 minutes.

thats good, 'cause if I remember correctly we were one stupid Manu foul away from sending your sorry asses packing. That Manu foul won't save you again sweetheart.Quote:

The only difference is it is 2008 rather than 2006. This shit just made my day! Mavs are back baby!Quote:
the Suns and the Mavs can recruit FA to their teams but it will take more time for them to gel.
That was how Argentina beat the U.S. team in the Worlds.
A blindfolded Manu or TP can pass to the 30-yr old Timmy in the middle, or TP to Manu anywhere in the court.. now that I can imagine happening next season :lol
Every post you have written since the draft has been about getting Nocioni. If you like the guy so much, support the Bulls!Quote:

I didn't know that Memphis wanted to draft Oberto in 2005.

That was so secret. I didn't read it on the news or NBA rumors :D
Everything is almost done under the radar nowadays. You just don't know what happens next. Me, I'm only certain that Yao Ming won't get a million votes as center in the West 2007-08 All-Star anymore now that Greg Oden is here. :lmao
:tu Good news.
I suspect a player option on Vaughn second year. Vaughn for the min is a very good signing. At the worst, Vaughn is a great third string PG and third string PGs are paid the min.
Yeah, as I said when the Spurs signed Vaughn, he was automatically the team's best third point guard in team history. The best situation would be to replace Beno with a player who may push Vaughn for the backup spot.Quote:
