GREAT for PJ, but he will be missed ...
It's gonna blow when we go 1-3 against the Sonics next season.

Portland?
Already? :lol
Agreed. Portland looks like they will win championships. The question is how soon can they put it together . . .Quote:

Earlier this summer I thought that if PJ got hired, two people the Spurs could look at as potential replacements as assistant coaches could be Paul Pressey and Tom Thibodeau. However, both were hired within the last 24 hours.

The New Orleans Hornets hired former NBA player Paul Pressey as an assistant coach on Monday.
"Paul will be a great addition to our team," head coach Byron Scott said. "He has many years of experience in the NBA, as both a great player and assistant coach."

Tom Thibodeau was hired Monday as an assistant coach with the Washington Wizards.
Thibodeau spent the past four seasons as an assistant with the Houston Rockets.
I'd venture to guess two years from now only one or two of those players will be on the Spurs.Quote:

Everybody wants a piece of the spurs success I guess
The biggest reason Portland played us so tough...was Zach Randolph. If Oden is as good as Randolph offensively...TPark will leave the forum for a year. You have my word.
I hope the Spurs do hire the coach of the Argie National Team...dude is a bad ass offensive coach.
Congrats to PJ. I'll miss him here, but he deserves to be an NBA head coach again.
You mean the ex-coach?Quote:

Couple years ago. He took a head coaching job in the Italian league ... and I guess being the national coach for Argentina is a full time job.Quote:

Portland has gone into the SuperMarket and bought everything they wanted...
That doesn't mean the food is going to be good.
Let's see how good of a cook they are now and I doubt they've even figured out what they want to make yet....lots of choices...and that's not always a good thing...it doesn't always get the best meal made.
Two different things...
Yet another coach that knows the spurs plays and how to defend our players I hope we don't face Seattle in the playoffs :rolleyesQuote:
