I think this is a lot of speculation by the Chicago paper. It doesn't really quote any sources as saying one for the other, just a guess if they traded Duhon.

The good news is Chicago seems to be interested in Scola. If they can't swing the trade with Memphis for Gasol, perhaps we become a willing trade partner for Nocioni by default.

If you are Nocioni do you want to end up in Memphis without Gasol unless you are guaranteed sixty million US?

Nocioni should just come here, win himself 2 rings, then move on once Tim is done and cash in on the success.

It may not be completely idle speculation -- it could be something the Bulls FO floated to kick off negotiations.
