soooo, no KG for PHX?
Seriously though, when Hill and Nash are on the court at the same time and only one can guard Bowen, who is the other one going to guard? Oberto? :lol
And as far as Hill at backup point guard, does Sun Fan realize he had more turnovers than assists last year? If I'm Sun Fan, I'd rather seen Boris Diaw bring the ball up the court.
Hill might help against other teams but against the Spurs, I just don't see it. He can't play the James Jones role even, since he's not able to guard the Spurs' center. Unless Hill is just going to play the 8 minutes that Nash sits in the playoffs, I don't see how this works.
PHX feels like it needs to spend some money, and Hill needs a vacation home in the southwest.
Defensively, it's certainly a concern.Quote:

I'm quite sure h's lost several steps, but he's heady, and can create. I pray he's played, and not wasted like Rose was last season.
And seriously, "Sun fan" is pretty unintentionally demeaning. It's bullshit. I take the time to properly acknowledge those I'm referencing/quoting and, without sounding like a bitch, would appreciate the same.
I look forward to seeing all 29 games Grant Hill plays next season.
:lmao
That wasn't directed solely at you. "Sun fan" was used as a term for the Suns fan base as a whole. I apologize for the confusion.Quote:

To be fair, Spur fan had the same idea. They wanted to sign Hill and use him as backup point. Unless he finds the fountain of youth between now and November, I have no clue how Hill could do that in his condition.
Best of luck to the Suns. I think Hill is a good matchup against the Mavs and probably most every team in the league. However, against the Spurs I can't pretend that I'd be saddened to see Hill replace Kurt Thomas or Raja Bell in the starting lineup.
Dont need him here anyways we got enough veterans.
You're not the only one... I've seen several. I've been a bitch too and said "MavFan" in response a few times, so I'm not perfect. I just know the attitude behind my use of the term and probably assumed it's the same for those using similar... Like I said, I don't want to come across as whiney. I've just worked hard on my name and like when referenced, I'm referenced with respect. It's not just on you. Largely not. It just happened to be the time I got sick of it. Sorry for any confusion on my end...Quote:

As for Hill, last season he was a starter, so his assist/turnover ratio came against other team's starting units. He was also one of the better offensive players on the Magic, probably second or third, depending on one's opinion of Nelson. Therefore he was defended more, and done so by better players.
If he comes off the bench in Phoenix, he'll have a plethora of finishers, both shooters and cutters, and he'll be doing such against other teams second units by and large. He won't always be the best offensive player on the floor for the Suns, and it'll be more difficult for opposing defenses to key in on him.
Such is my hope, at least. We'll just have to see...
