That was a beautiful game.
It is forever embedded into my memory.
demonoid
I have a copy of that game on DVD somewhere, Mandy made me a copy because I was at the game. Jules and I met up in Phoenix to see the game, I had to separate her from the Suns fans because she almost got in a fight with them.
I went ahead and fell asleep during that game b/c the Spurs were getting owned.
I am still pissed to this day I missed the end.
Is there anyone here willing to send me an invitation code for demonoid? Please send it to me thru PM. Thanks!
i got ya covered bro.Quote:

If anyone's obsessed with anything, it's pathetic Suns trolls and their obsession with the mystical asterisk. You're giving Suns fans a bad name. :lol
I have a copy
I'm pretty sure that Kori won't like this thread.
* or not, we still have 4 trophies and you guys have 0!!!
It must suck to be you.

Spurs fans are hypocrites.
They pretend to not care about scoring or exciting play, but the ONE GAME in which a player of theirs goes off, they talk about it endlessly for years.
How sad.
You know how many 40+ point performances we've gotten from the Suns since that game?
Answer: A lot!
And how many championships?Quote:

My point exactly...we don't dwell on everytime Nash or Stoudemire have a ridiculous night cuz it happens a few times every season.Quote:

Thats just OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD from THIS year.
We don't have to create threads three years later to talk about regular season performances.
MORE from this year!!!
Nash, 42 points and 12 assists:

No, we talk about defense and rebounding and toughness a lot, but Sun Fan is never in those threads, because he'd need a translator.Quote:

Those are numbers that can be talked about anytime of the day if you ask me...
Then why the thread over a regular season performance from three years ago?Quote:

Maybe in the 22nd century Suns fans will be able to look back fondly on a key game during a championship season.
Until then, keep crying and enjoy being our bitches.
pretty ballsy of a suns fan saying they "own" anything.Quote:

there's a thread about the game because it's a great memory for Spurs fans...along with the memory of 4 championships. appreciating both offense and defense at the same time is not hypocritical.
why don't you go enjoy your cactus and blistering heat, and ponder the next excuse for the Suns' empty championship case? :music
If you are in the US, why not search Google videos for it? If it's there, I think it'll cost you $3 to download.

That 48 point Manu game was incredible. I remember it well. I was trying to get my dad to be a Spurs fan with me at that time, as he had just gotten out of the hospital and I wanted to spend more time with him. He is a stubborn man and we had grown apart over the years, but watching that game with him rekindled our connection a bit and after he saw Manu do what he did, he couldn't miss another Spurs game. We watched together the rest of the season, the Playoffs and when the Spurs won it all my dad hugged me for the first time in years. Cheesy ass story I know but it all went back to that 48 point game Manu had.... That was a great season, minus the T-Mac 13 points in 35 seconds (ouch!)

ughh dont remind me.
this game was broadcasted by nbatv las month on their "NBA greatest games" program.
so.. google Video is the best way to get a copy? i would do ANYTHING to have a DVD of that and some other stuff as here in south america it is very difficult to find.
I was in the stands that night sitting on the second row behind the basket lending my SPAM mojo to the team. It was an awesome game. It was great watching the Suns fans cry.
Blah blah blah....Hey, on the Nash pic, has anyone used the Van Damme dance scene from Bloodsport? Even more ridiculous than Breakin'.Quote:
