Can I put like a million bucks on them not winning the title? How can they be 8-1? What the hell could happen that would suddenly make them better than any of the West teams?Quote:

Considering if Miami sign Williams they will have 4 starters under the age of 27. Thats hardly rotting. If it is what would you call our team?Quote:

But then again it is the East... pretty much anyone can contend in that conference... so.. heh
Fuk The Mavs
And The Suns
I wish i would have put $20 bucks on the Celtics at 80 to 1 before the KG trade. I'll be their odds are down to 10 to 1 now.
Yeah but they still won't win a championship, not with that lack of a bench (hello Phoenix), so it would still be $10 lost.
I think they still have their MLE and LLE, and you better believe Boston just became a more attractive destination.Quote:

How does a team that lost in the first round have a great chance of winning the championship?
These days, it's not about who is ACTUALLY GOOD. It's about who we WANT to be good, and we create this false sense of dominance by the flashy teams (Dallas and Phoenix), despite those teams just having lost in the first and second rounds. Meanwhile, while the Spurs picked up their 3rd championship in 5 seasons, Dallas, Houston, and Phoenix supposedly are a "Threat" to SA next year, and SA needs to get "younger and more athletic", and this was "their last chance to win a title". Houston and Dallas, both holders of homecourt advantage, lost in the first round. Phoenix lost in the 2nd round and twice to the Spurs in the playoffs the last three seasons.
Come on, gimme a break.
Actually, betting lines mean nothing in terms of the real world. They are designed to have the money come down evenly so that Vegas takes their cut, and the losers pay the winners.
What were the odds they'd win the championship last year? :lol they'll choke again, bank on it
Tied 2-2 in the series with a free game 5 gift (due to suspensions) that you almost lost. You call that a beat-down -- Please. Would love the rematch next year.Quote:

“They do a great job of their system and staying true to form,
making big plays in big moments,” Suns coach Mike D'Antoni
told reporters in Phoenix on Thursday. “That's what we're
trying to get. Mental toughness, being lucky, I don't know
what it is.”
The Spurs, D”Antoni added, just seem to “believe a little
bit more.”
“All the time,” he said.
