Funny how you both then make the same stupid comments.
Posts like the one of yours that started this idiotic thread are the very definition of self-ownage. Scola gets a double double against a Spurs team that rested three starters and didn't play the other two at all in the second half. And he didn't do dick but get abused until the second half of the fourth quarter against a bunch of guys that won't be on an NBA roster in a few days. Shit, I've seen better posts from SpursDynasty, maybe he would be embarrased to be compared to you after this one.Quote:

be sure to have your bandwagon ready if the Spurs get in trouble in the playoffs this season :lol
Is that all you have?Quote:

That same dead horse?
Christ, embarassing.
Garbage time stats. Too bad Scola couldn't stop the offensive juggernaut Matt Bonner at all tonight. Scola's defense just isn't NBA ready, it's non-existent.
I still don't like the trade (because the Spurs gave someone in their division something for nothing), but tonight made me feel a lot better about it. Scola isn't anything to lose sleep over. Neither is Darius Washington, though I'd like to see the Spurs keep him.
Didn't watch or listen to the game forum.

Notice how the person has been owned on Scola, yet continues to spit the same bs about me.
Owned.
Amen to that.Quote:

But I refuse to believe that I, or anyone else, know more than the Spurs Front Office does.
They made this trade for a reason. Whether it's money or the player wasn't the right fit or whatever it was...They know more than we do.
I trust them. Even if it works against them down the road, I still trust them.
As you said, we've got 4 Trophies to show for it.
Let them make the decisions they need to make. Piss and whine a little if it makes you feel better.
Then let it go and move on.
Jackie Butler!
I like Scola, not so much that he is "that good", but mainly because our PF's last season were so weak. I don't expect him to dominate for us but he should help, especially on an Adelman coached team. If our stars play like the stars that they are supposed to be then we just need him to be capable....
Honestly, I don't know about the rest of you, but I haven't been able to sleep at night since the Spurs gave Luis Scola away as if they'd never spent a single moment scouting the guy -- I'm so butthurt over that deal that even months later, it's the ONLY thing I want to talk about on this forum.
. . . oh, wait . . . . that's not me.
I called it, I should have gone ahead and called the poster who would do it too.
He took 14 shots, and got the majority of his production against scrubs. If you can't understand that, I don't know what to tell you.

That will be one of the best days ever on the internets.

So there is no excuse for his sucking tonight.Quote:

I haven't had to make any excuses yet -- he pretty much played the way I thought he would. So your "more excuses" phrase is inaccurate.
If Scola was a Spur Pop would treat him the same as Elson.
