Barry or Bonner?
Bonner is terrible.
Barry played good until his slight injury. Bonner on the other hand, attempted a lot of 3's and only made 1.
Bonner looked like Will Purdue tonight.
Way too much like Will Purdue.... :(
Washington. Because that jerk ruined my (supposed) 1st vBookie win
Finley. He's pretty much sucked ass this year, and Pop noticed and had Manu start the second half last night.
Don't bet on the Spurs to cover this early in the year.Quote:

trade Bonner
It may depend on who has longer left on their contract. Bonner, in this case. Fans tend to react most harshly against someone who they feel isn't living up to a contract.Quote:

James White!
I always wanted to do that.
Seriously, Bonner or Finley.
Bonner. That airballed 3 last night was fuckin horrendous.
Bonner has always sucked. At least Finley and Barry used to be good, but they are at the end of their careers. Bonner has never been good, and never will be good.
Bonner- because of his contract. Finley makes relatively little, and both he and Brent are on the last year of their contracts. Plus, Bonner is supposed to replace Horry and he will never live up to that ridiculous standard people have for him. Also, he's white- a requirement for the position.
Bonner. He's supposed to be Horry's replacement but it's not looking too good right now. I know those are big shoes to fill but he's looking completely lost on defense not to mention that horrific shooting.
Finley and Barry are on the last legs of their careers but I don't worry about either one. Both are veterans and can be trusted most the time even if they are stinking it up for most the game. Barry can handle the ball and pass and hit the open three. Finley historically starts off slow so until it's February or March and he's still shooting like he is I won't worry. And while both are not good defenders individually they at least understand the team defense and can be counted on in that area.
I haven't given up on Bonner yet.
Horry replacement? You guys need to keep it real. Bonner is not fast enough, not athletic enough, not playermaker enough to EVER be on the same level as Horry. Anyone that thought he could even get close is a moron.
He has hit some good 3's already this season. OMG OMG he airballed a 3!!!111
So did Parker and probably every other 3 pt shooter in the league at one point in their career.
I'm sure he'll get a little better on def as the season continues.
Not to overstate it, but Bonner is starting to evoke Hedo Turkoglu. (On the other hand, it's not Bonner's fault that someone gave him a contract and no one can claim he's not trying.) :)
why all the hate on Bonner. Yeah, he sometimes missed out on his defensive rotations but i think he will be a valuable player for the spurs this season with his shooting. as long as he's shooting with confidence, Im gonna be happy about his minutes.
Ya, ya coulda got rid of Bonner to make room for Scola but nooooooooo
LOL
