Would JJ be one of those young players who would rather want to learn behind veteran's or would he rather be one of those young players who wants to play? Because he sure as hell wouldn't get as much playing time here.

First off, the trade wouldn't go through. Barry is making something like 5.5M this year and Redick is barely breaking 2M. Plus, the Magic don't seem to have any capable fillers that we could plug in to make it all work.
Secondly, do we really want Redick? He has no defensive ability, hes not athletic at all, hes undersized and he is completely unproven at this level. Although, the guy can flat out shoot. And I know I've said before that above all else we need shooters on this team to replace Barry and Finley. But frankly, I think the player we get needs to be able to at least fake a viable defensive effort.
