It won't be long before Tony's shipped outta town and lil' BD takes over the PG spot. Is that right ?
Yeah, i have a LONG memory :rolleyes

Washington looks like like a guy who needs more NBA minutes playing with the Spurs before he's even considered a viable option as the backup PG.

Not that we want to see DW become like Baron as Spurs do not need DW to do that but I think he is a different type of PG than Parker and it doesn't hurt for us to have him on our roster!
I understood what you meant. I just don't see him as very Baron-like, considering the big height different (4 inches?), added with the fact that Baron loves to dunk on people and that Washington primarily plays below the rim. To me, they are completely different playing styles - other than the maybe the aggressive/confidence factor.
But yes, I agree that he's really different than Parker and could develop into a good backup.

Actually there is only 1 inch difference in height....but there is 20 lb difference in weight so Baron is bigger but not that much bigger and I think Darius is faster than Baron. Anyway, it's a good story and let's hope Spurs got lucky with DW because we really do need a viable second option at the PG position as Jacques is a bit too one-dimensional (lack of shooting) in that Spurs need SOME scoring out of their PG position considering that we don't get much from the SF position (Bowen, Udoka, etc.) that most teams do.
