I hope they don't play down to the Knicks level and then spend 3 quarters trying to dig themselves out of the hole.

Knicks call on League Pass.
This could be a long night...
The Spurs cannot afford to fall behind 12-16 points early and take the 1st half off. It would be embarassing to lose at home against the Knicks.
spurs will kick ass
Time for the Spurs to show some form.
Sure, the injuries have hurt, but that's no excuse for some of the bundle-dropping we've witnessed.
Players like Fab and Ime really have to step up.
Malik starting
Horry also starting
Joe Crawford in the house
Lets Go Spurs!!!!!!!!
TD from Horry
Oh, no, this is a good thing.Quote:

Spurs up 7-6
I am waiting for Walt Frazier to start dropping his vocab words left and right. There are 3 to 1 odds he uses the word "plethora" at some point in the game.
Nice to see Horry hit a 3 and get some rebounds but why hasn't Finley or Parker taken a shot?
I've noticed that lately Tim is shooting very hard off the glass. Needs a bit more arc in his shot. Thumb may be hampering him too.
Clyde cracks me up. I think he chooses 2 or 3 words each game to try to work into the broadcast. And that goofy voice doesn't fit in with his image at all. But he's very good, and not a homer.Quote:

Now, "multiplicity" is a vocab word.
:lmao
That play with Horry saving the ball bouncing it into Malik's head was funny :lol
His thumb is absolutely bothering him. You can see it.Quote:

Good evening Ms Martini. :toast ;)

You're right, my mistake.Quote:

So far so good for these guys.
Sure, it was more an observation over the last month.Quote:

Is Pop punishing his players for performing well? he did the same thing last night. taking Bonner out after he started shooting well.
Much better Tim!
Stop shooting and drive that ball right at Curry.
Were they guarding Finley well cause I don't understand how he plays nearly 7 minutes without taking a shot.
TD and one!!!!
8pts
score?
Much better.
Duncan should hang up the banker for the night and use his footwork to get to the hoop.
Ime J
Spurs up 19-17
Bonner's defense looks good out there.
JV and one
Spurs up 2
Bonner 33333333333333333
WTF, Randolph suspended? :pctoss for my Fantasy team.
That's one high ass arc.
At least we're leading after the first quarter.
Just pointing out: Breen and Frazier haven't bitched about one call. All class.
I agree. They're pleasant to listen to.Quote:

Why do they always struggle at home for the most part? Against the freakin' knicks?! Oh god
Curry killing Oberto
Great time for Fin to stink it up.
Curry just abusing Oberto.
You gotta play better than this Fab. No stupid fouls.
At least Oberto was crafty enough to get Curry called for his second push off. I liked that.Quote:

Oh lordy, I'm really not enjoying the January slump.
We're making the Knicks look good. :oops
inflated by curry's 7 for 8 shooting.Quote:

would you guys just chill for a while? you're putting out too much negative energy. in case you haven't noticed, the spurs have some of the knicks to foul alot. 6 to 3 this quarter.
Dermarr!!!!!

Nice b2b 3's by Johnson and Bowen. I sure hope Johnson gets more than 3 minutes tonight.
Tim is one of the best shot blockers in the league. Almost every time he blocks a shot he also grabs the ball instead of bouncing it out of bounds like most of shot blockers do.
its sooo dispiritin. waily! waily! waily!Quote:

I sure hope the Spurs keep Johnson. Not just because tonight but because I think he could be a great weapon off the bench. Long 3's are welcomed.
"Nemesis", one of Clyde's words. He is a cool commentator and calls it as he sees it. :tu
I HATE it when we shoot 3s every position.
And what is up with TP - not getting to the rim at all!?
:elephant :elephant :elephant :lol :lol
Johnson's looking good so far! :)
TP has to be injured, that's the only explanation.
As for Johnson, nice shooting range, but he's very slow laterally on D...
denmarr johnson, 6-9, plays guard and forward.
could the spurs have stumbled upon the mythic long 3 the fans have been clamoring for?
he does fit pop's criteria for a spur. except for the tats, he's a journeyman and old (okay, 27 ain't old but bear with me here). :lmao
I like how DerMarr isn't afraid to shoot. Came in halfway through the 2nd and got off 6 shots. That's one shot per minute!
I agree something is not right with Tony... he's lost his edge completely.
Horry: 8 pts, 6 rebs, 4 asts and a big STFU to me.
i think that's what Pop actually asked him to doQuote:

There were a ton of hasty shots in that last sequence.
and so is bonner, finley, barry... basically any spur that can hit the 3. that's what pop wants... guys who aren't afraid to shoot no matter how much it infuriates the fans.Quote:

I thought with the way Finley started he might have hit a wall after how well he's been playing but he's turned it around. On fire.
Fuck you Richardson.
