Let's blow out these puppies.
I need to see them play well tonight, it would do me a world of good.
A win would be nice too!
6-8 last 14 games - that is how we started the 99 season, before going 46-7 to claim the championship... not that that means anything, I'm just saying...
Time to start righting the ship.
3 keys:
1. move the ball (and cut!),
2. be aggressive at both ends (play like you care),
3. keep hammering away at that rock!
This is what I need to see.Quote:

Spurs call on League Pass.
Lucky me!
The Spurs have won 3 of the last 5 championships.
i'll be satisfied with 1 key: win the damn game!Quote:

Oberto starting, not Horry.
I'd like a win but more importantly I'd like to see the Spurs come out strong and play like they care.
Baveta and V.Palmer today

I hate when FSN carries the games. they should just defer to NBATV. that way we get to see it on their HI-DEF affiliate.
manu 3333333333333333
Spurs up 1
Nice defense :lol
Is this a joke? I know it's early but we shouldn't be down to the Timberwolves at any point in this game.
Ime and Cisco in
Can you believe this crap? The Spurs can't dominate against the Wolves?
What happened to the payback attitude? What happened to the championship team we once had?
WTF gives?
Pop: call some plays for Manu....just some...
Ok. I know its the t-wolves, but why is Elson in for TD when we are down in the 1st quarter? can anyone see the sense in it?
They are relying WAY TOO MUCH on the three pointer.....terrible...
Cisco J
Wolves up 3
manu tres!!!!!!!
He has 7pts
Wolves up 3
TP J!!!!!!
Tie after one
Parker lucky shot.
Tie game, 24 all, end first.
Tony on a banker? Go figure...but we'll take it. We're going to need it down the stretch. Something tells me that this will NOT be a cake walk, again.
Nice banker by Tony to end the 1st Q.
Wolves FG-10-17 - 59%
The D must get better
It is all skill my friend :toastQuote:

You're gonna need a lot more of those lucky shots tonight from the look of it :downspin:
Everybody practice your "Oh, it's only January" posts . . .
The Spurs ain't dead yet and the vultures are already circling.Quote:

Thanks Bonner. Where was that against Detroit?
Fabricio from Manuuuuuuuuuuuu

Oberto playing well. Vaughn with 5 assists already.
HOLY CRAP!!! where did Vaughn get those wheels from?
Look at the difference in intensity since Pop called that TO.
Good. Play hard.
The only problem when they get excited and intense is that some players try to do too much - like Bonner's 2 turnovers.
We are pretty much living and dying by the 3.
2nd unit needs another scorer really badly.
Richardson in.
Spurs looking older than usual tonight.
Oberto with 3blks
J-Rich in
pathetic
TP-Manu-J.Rick-TD-Cisco
Another TO
Turnovers are ridiculous.
Was that a bear hug?
damn it !!!!!!!!!!!! i got lost in foosball practice :oops
shite, anybody feel like givin me a little recap of what ive missed?
Strange lineups out there.
Stop the turnovers and get some stops before they run us out of our own building.
Against a decent team we'd be down 10 with all those open 3s we're leaving.
Move the freakin ball!!!
Nice inside pivot from Jefferson
Where is manu?
somebody tell me we are not losing to min. in our house
flagrant
I'm a little late, but that play by Vaughn might have been the single best hustle play by a Spur all year. Too bad nothing came of it.
Not sharing the ball indeed. Too much isolation play....too many three point attempts.....they are not playing Spurs basketball. What in the hell is going on?
BTW, they are only up by one in the late 2nd quarter...
Jefferson chose not to extend for the max? I didn't know that. Impressive.
jacque vaughn-sanity!!!
a poke at garnett, no doubt.Quote:

gomes with 6 rebounds. the guys have forgotten how to box out.
Richardson's brother is listed at 6'6' 6'7?? He looks slightly taller than Parker.
The Spurs have played so poorly recently what else can Pop say at the half to motivate them?
I don't think the lack of ball movt is selfishness - they are just way out of sync and have been since all the injuries. It's like they have to start all over again when it comes to chemistry.
Come back soon Brent, please! (the ball generally moves beautifully when he's out there)
The guy has character. That's hard to turn down, when you're early in your career.Quote:

Good thing Charlotte won't make the playoffs or they'd kick Boston and Detroit's asses.
who says they can't?Quote:

Damn.
There have been glimpses of the team I love.
Not enough, but glimpses...
LOL Houston even blew them out LAST FREAKIN NIGHT by 30....sad indeed
Spurs not playing their best to their abilities. The teamwork on the offensive end, seems pretty non-existent
Spurs trail at the half.......you've got to be fuckin' kidding me!
No killer instinct.
Wow, Bruce has been soooooo cold lately.
duncan228 - only resemebling them for 30 second stretches, then reverting to those horrible pretend-Spurs... :depressed
Pop should just hold up a mirror to each player and not say a word.
It's all about ball movement on O, and desire on D. Right now they don't seem to have either and get discouraged when things go wrong.
It's okay, we've seen them like this before and they always come back - REMEMBER THE STONECUTTER!
That's the same team that beat the mighty Celtics the other night.Quote:
