Will the Spurs sleepwalk again or will they finally start getting it together?
I guess we'll find out tonight against a team they should beat -- especially at home.

Come out strong, knock them out, and sit the starters for the fourth.
I want to see them play like they mean it. At least in longer spurts than the Wolves game.
I know we've been saying their slump is just January stuff and I agree with it, but if we lose tonights game it's just something I can't ignore.
Well, if they can not beat a team that they have only one loss at home to in 21 yrs, then they really are in trouble.
I watched that game at the Alamodome and remember thinking, "that Iverson guy is pretty good." It think it was his rookie season.
My guess is that they sleepwalk through the first half and squeak it out at the very end. I don't see them breaking out of their funk just yet
win or lose, garbage game.
Sixers are typify too little player/coach/mgmt talent chasing too many NBA teams.
Start Bonner.
Spurs call on League Pass.
didnt philly beat us in our gym last year?
Lets Go Babies !!!!!
Fin !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
bruce, mid-range jumper
I like the energy these first few minutes.
Let's see if they maintain it.
spurs missing shots and transition layups for philly
td to tp inside
are we gonna stop the ball on D ?
14-11 philly
Bad pass.
layup after layup for philly
Stupid turnovers.
A stop or two would be nice.
we work so hard to get shots that we miss, and then our opp just takes it to us
:pctoss
Spurs sucking, FG 40% vs 57%
What happened to our team taking care of the ball?
Try it!!

Ugh. Look good for 2 minutes, then fall in a hole again...
Tim has been put off by the early doubles. Since then he's forced a bad shot and made an inexplicable pass to Bowen with men all around him. If Tim wants to get going he has to catch and go straight into his move, like he did the other night.
That looks better.
there you go attack !!!!!!!!!!!!
like they do to us
Does Elson come in with Manu, because Manu tells him where to be at... better?
76ers are beating our transition D down the court - not many teams do that very often!
Ugh.
This isn't even funny, Spurs.
damn Sisco shot that jumper like KG
Phili is having fun. We look bloody old.
No penetration at the mo - all jumpshots. Better change that or we'll get beaten.
22-21 philly w/ 3:01 left in 1st Q
"Sixers lead it" is not a phrase I wanted to hear at all tonight.
Cisco has a nice jumper, Pop's telling him to shoot it when open.
I'd put Bonner, not Rob, in here. We need energy and speed, and Bonner's a lot quicker than Rob at this stage of his career.
very true, Rob is just so sneaky and savvyQuote:

im not worried cause i know we'll have a chance in the end. i will be worried though cause we havent been able to take advantage of our chances.Quote:

Best tip of the year by Cisco! He looks good on O today, although he keeps making the wrong decisions on D...
Good to see Elson contributing in the last couple games. Might be scrub teams but maybe it helps him get going again.
Yeah, and so far he's playing very well.Quote:

27-24 Spurs after 1
Aren't we all? :)Quote:

Fab, Fin, Cisco, Rob, all played a good quarter. The rest... meh.
Poor Dre Miller - that shit really hurts. Totally unintentional though - Rob was trying to get his hands out of the way!
i relish the opportunity to have games to watch most of the year. playoffs are badass , but then.........Quote:

I love it, all of it, even when they're playing like this! :lol
The Playoffs are the big bang of course, but I love the whole season.
The off season kills me. It seems to get longer every year.
Great D on that possession - the system working as it should.
yeah i went through this whole last offseason on here with everybody. its pretty funny what we'll talk about to kill time
damn both of em' were gonna smack that shot
What's with Tim late on rotations lately?
And where is Manu's O?
Manu passed when he should have shot for once :lol
Duncan quiet, no points yet, missed his one attempt.
3 assists and 4 boards though...
He has 3 assists, basically he's creating plays for the other guys right now.Quote:

Yeah, I noticed that, but I'd like to see more of his mid range game.Quote:

Udoka 3333 nice, Spurs up 4
TD slam dunk!
tony tambien !
Who is guarding Dalembert?
We haven't seen that from Tim for a while!
TP layup, 10pts
Spurs up 6
tony behind the back to fabby !!!!!!!!!!1
These young teams are ferocious and they do have a lot of energy. They have nothing to lose. And they do circle their calendars for a game against us. If you let them hang out too long, they'll grow confidence and if we're not too careful they can beat us. The equivalent of a sucker or haymaker punch in boxing.Quote:

Some nice stuff.
Tony rejuvenated,
that pass to Fab shows that he's awake, now Manu and Tim need to wake up a little more.
Keep the highlight reel goin' !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow, nice run.
On Dalembert - every time I see him play he makes shots like today! apparently, he's an awful offensive player generally besides put backs, but I always see him at his best.
Gotta get up by 20 and then let Bonner step on throats.
maybe spurs4real is 4real
late is better than never Tim :lol
Score:
42-34 Spurs :flag:
I'm not really excited winning this game. What's I'm excited about is Feb 10.
Mike Fin-three
Who says they wanted more of Timmy's midrange game?
Boston Feb. 10th?
I totally agree with Sean, when Tim doesn't hesitate he is a much better player.
This is almost the best sustained run of good play by the Spurs in a month!
Tony's doing great. his passes are becoming trickier for defenses to guess if he's going to go for hte lay up or not
I said I wanted more of MANU'S midrange game. :lolQuote:
