LeBron James and Daniel Gibson are flukes.
I'm also gonna go ahead and throw this guy into the hat of "best Spurs fan posters to deal with". Not because he actually offers anything substantial on the surface, but I'm so thoroughly convinced it's all a bit that I think he might actually be the smartest one on here.Quote:

I think the bigger problem was not that TP missed those FTs, it was that he went in and tried to get fouled in the first place when there was barely any time left, knowing that he's not a high percentage FT shooter...I think in this case it would have been better for Manu to try to get fouled, since he is known for clutch FT shooting especially and is who Pop wants to shoot FT in crunch time...Plus, Manu had 31pts already...So I think he should have went in at that time, and did something, either make a shot or get fouled...
However, I still don't think TP should be blamed for this loss. In my opinion, one player cannot be the cause of a team loss, when a team losses, there are other players who didn't step up/made mistakes/etc...
January...yawn... :sleep

No matter who you are playing, you cannot always depend on a come from behind win.
While everyone is making a big deal about the WC standings right now, I honestly have to say... who cares? When teams can move up and down drastically with one loss or one win, why be happy or upset about your team's ranking. IT IS JANUARY PEOPLE! Things can change a lot between now and April. And we all know that you don't necessarily have to be the number one seed to win the whole thing. It's more about which teams are playing well come April.
Why is this whole thread acting like we MUST win a regular season game. We don't have to win shit, lol.
Think of how hard it is to care about going full blast during the regular season when you've won three out of the last five.
As long as we get IN the playoffs, we're fine.

To go 60 - 22, the Spurs will have to do 35 - 10 the rest of the way.
Spurs are now on pace 55 - 27.
Predicted rodeo road trip record...below .500...agree???
LeBron is such a fluke and wasted draft pick...
is it an even number of games? if it is, .500 exactly. and they'll be rumping the competition on the back end.Quote:
