Hell even the D was good tonight and they lost, this is starting to get sickening, what are they 8-10 in their last 18 or some bullshit??? :madrun :pctoss
Exactly how I feel. Team seems to have forgotten how to win.

Re: Spurs vs. Rockets Jan. 19 - Game Thread
The spurs need fresh blood, like Landry!

Clutch is as much of a mindset as it is skill. Outside of Manu and Horry, there's no one else on this team that can be considered "clutch".

Re: Spurs vs. Rockets Jan. 19 - Game Thread
Tripping is even a foul in football. WTF refs
-
Re: Spurs vs. Rockets Jan. 19 - Game Thread
anyone else see Barry wide open?

Re: Spurs vs. Rockets Jan. 19 - Game Thread
At least Bonner isn't a pussy and is not afraid to take the shot after missing his first game winning shot earlier this season.
Good try. 0-2.
-
Re: Spurs vs. Rockets Jan. 19 - Game Thread
Bonner fucked up, he ran that play like it was his shot.
-
Re: Spurs vs. Rockets Jan. 19 - Game Thread
Pitiful. I'm tired of hearing it's only January, it's only 1 loss.
It's another missed chance at catching up with Dallas and Phoenix. It's another loss to a divisional rival.
I also like how Pop goes from using the bench to playing Ginobli, Parker, and Duncan big minutes.
Don't even get me started on drawing up a play for Bonner. He's missed 3 or 4 of those already.

Re: Spurs vs. Rockets Jan. 19 - Game Thread
Shoening said Bonner was fouled.
is that true?

He had no other choice

Re: Spurs vs. Rockets Jan. 19 - Game Thread
The rockets win because they want to win more than the spurs! :madrun
-
Re: Spurs vs. Rockets Jan. 19 - Game Thread
I'd rather bank on a cold Horry, than a warm Bonner

Re: Spurs vs. Rockets Jan. 19 - Game Thread
:pctoss
We deserve the loss.
How do you not get the rebound at the end???
Seriously Spurs!
Next! And it had better be much, much better.
Come on March!
-
Re: Spurs vs. Rockets Jan. 19 - Game Thread
Don't blame the refs for it. Spurs overall could not rebound the ball when it counted...........
Another disappointment. Hell I don't even know what their record is

true, but trust me, he would've missed the FT's anyway in that situation

Re: Spurs vs. Rockets Jan. 19 - Game Thread
It's official. The Rockets have the Spurs number!!! whooo hoooo :D
-
Re: Spurs vs. Rockets Jan. 19 - Game Thread
In Pop's defense I think Bonner was supposed to swing the ball to Ginobili at the end there. Ginobili had a WTF look on his face as he stood there wide open and watched Bonner go 1-on-3 :lol

The whole goddamn team ISN'T CLUTCH. Don't blame this loss entirely on Bonner.

He got the ball with a couple seconds, Battier slipped on his ass, Bonner got by him, Battier swung his leg up to trip him.

Re: Spurs vs. Rockets Jan. 19 - Game Thread
This IS the San Antonio Spurs, right?
You know -- Tim, Tony, Manu, and the gang? The ones who ordinarily win their games?
I'm not sure who these bums are. They LOOK like the Silver & Black. But the Spurs I know (a) can make an important free throw, (b) make big shots, (c) get a stop once in a while, and (d) grab a rebound when needed.
Did they sell their souls to the devil some time back?
-
Re: Spurs vs. Rockets Jan. 19 - Game Thread
it's just a regular season game. the spurs looked awful last year too. we will be fine!

Because we are going to determine his clutch out of 2 attempts so far :dizzy
Pop is testing him.
