Spurs won
It sucks, Spurs aren't even consistent in the L. It's not with some stupid W that we will get Rose, mayo or Beasley. :depressed

A quality win against a shit team. Hopefully they can get one against a team in the west that DOESN'T suck. I can't fathom how Spurs fans can sit back and say that there is nothing wrong in Spurs Land. I personally don't hate the Spurs, but complacency and overconfidence in the regular season will lead to the same in the postseason. I can't remember the last time I saw the Spurs play 4 quarters of basketball (I watch most of the games since my wife is a Spurs fan). They tend to coast for 3 qtrs and try to turn it on in the 4th. When will Pop address this issue and DO something about it.
My guess is that it has a little something to do with confidence and age. They don't need to prove themselves, as they've already got 4 trophies, so they allow themselves to coast a bit, knowing (hoping?) that they'll be able to turn it on in the playoffs.Quote:

The real problem is what do the Spurs do if they are unable to "turn it on" after the all-star break. It could be too late by then to tinker with the puzzle pieces. It could also put them in a position where they are fighting to MAKE the playoffs. If they get in that situation, they will have to expend WAY more energy before the playoffs and will come in to the playoffs tired and playing on the road. Championship teams do mot have a "we KNOW we are better" mentality, occasionally they SHOW they are better. Preparation and consistency are what wins championships. The west is WAY too tough to have a "wait till the playoffs" attitude. Pop had better address the issues and get his team back to dominating the bad teams and beating the good ones soon.
Haha, yeah thanks for catching that. I wasn't even thinking.Quote:

Yes, that is how champions operate. You are observant. One could hope that the Suns might learn a thing or two from the Silver & Black -- how to prepare, be consistant, and winning a championship.Quote:
