No excuse for Ian only scoring 7 pts in second half. GIMME THE DAMN BALL! :madrun
Still up by two late. Ian got a touch and got to the foul line. Funny how that works. We're lucky our three pointers are falling.
Austin 111 | Tulsa 111 2mns to go!
Langford fouls out stupidly. Snyder gets T'd up.
Meltdown.
DerMarr hogging the ball the last two minutes.
Tulsa up by three.
Stupid gamble by Langford with 5 fouls already.
Dermarr Johnson is 6'9 has 5'10 Jason Fontenot guarding him and he shoots a fade away bankshot! :rolleyes Last night out of a timeout with the Toros down 3 and 18 secs to go Dermarr passed up a 3, dribbled, faked and shot a 15 ft and missed. What is his bball IQ?
Toros down 3 with 17 secs to go.
Toros down 1 and get rebound off missed 2 freethrows by David Noel. 1.5 secs to go :dramaquee
Toros lose.
No shot. Game over. Tulsa rally from 26 down. FRICKIN AMAZING. :pctoss
Just like big brother.
The Toros are loaded with talent but there is not enough chemistry in this team. :depressed
Damn, it sucks.
As someone who doesn't follow Toros closely, I've had the felling that they are "broken" since the start of the showcase and the main reason is the lack of chemistry and some players having a me first attitude.
Ian's final line:
43:43
30 pts
13-18 FG
6-7 FT
9 REB - 6 OFF
3 AST
2 ST
2 TO
2 BLK
2 PF
The Offensive rebounds sticks out to me. Spurs need a guy to grab OR's. DR's too, actually.
66ers Jason Fontenot had 23 pts today and is averaging 2.6 ppg on the season! UNBELIEVABLE.... :dizzy
I don't know if we had much choice today, but Cheyne probably played a little too much given his back spasms. I think that probably affected his D.
Told you guys. Bring him in and play him. Spurs will get immediate dividends.
Have you even seen him play ever?
Obviously not since you said he'd be an awesome rebounder in the NBA.
nobody plays defense in the D league!
Only 3 defensive rebounds in almost 44 minutes is not a very good sign for a 6'11 center with his athletism. He needs to improve that.Quote:

While Mahinmi certainly hasn't rebounded as well as his athleticism and length should suggest, I have seen some improvement in that category over the last few games.
In fact, Mahinmi has had no less than 8 rebounds in each of the last 7 games....the most consistent stretch to this point.
Again, I'm not saying he's a great rebounder or that he doesn't need work, but it appears he has shown some improvement of late.
And as someone pointed out before he's obviously been told to defend very little to get rid of his foul problem. He would probably not receive the same kind of directive @ the spurs.
And you seriously have to think he would most certainly have had a 40+ pts night had the team fed him more ball after the first quarter.
:lol at the keith closs siting... ive been wondering where that guy was :lol
