ESPN is talking about football.
Not now, fellas!

Re: Spurs @ Suns Game 3 - Game Blog
Did Tim or Manu even break a sweat out there?
This series has been one of the best coached series I've ever seen. Pop has COMPLETELY exploited Shaq as the slow, plodding, defensively useless player that he is.
We just pick and rolled them to death. And Tim's jumper was a thing of beauty today and that catch and shoot jumper off a screen that he hit was beautiful. I haven't seen that play since 04 I think. Pop just pulled out all the stops tonight and the Suns got RAPED!

D'Antoni smiling at the presser doesn't bode very well for the Suns. You can tell he's just psyching himself up now.

Shaq and Duncan are now 14-14 head to head in the playoffs.
Looks like Duncan may get the last laugh.

Do you work with numbers or are you just fascinated by them? Or both? You do lots with numbers.
228 is a Duncan related number for me.

Re: Spurs @ Suns Game 3 - Game Blog
remember how everyone said the Spurs were "too old" a couple of years ago????? lol

Re: Spurs @ Suns Game 3 - Game Blog
Did you guys see when Spurs were up by 16, and then Oberto makes a defensive error and Popo immediately calls timeout? That is friggin' great coaching. Plug up the leaks in your game, clear up the small things and we get the rings. This is the reason why Spurs will get their 5th ring (Doc Rivers has no chance), especially since
Celtics can't stop Parker, Ginobli, nor Duncan from scoring at will. Duncan can take over when he wants (if Parker and Ginobli are having an off-night), Duncan is a better defender than Garnett, Parker will always blow by Rondo or just drain one in his face, and Ginobli is just all over the place.

Re: Spurs @ Suns Game 3 - Game Blog
The way Duncan plays, he will still be putting up 20-10 and making his team better even at age 38, 39, and 40!
If Duncan gets 6 rings, can we compare him to Jordan? We already know that Duncan is the best forward ever, but the thing is, Jordan had to work very hard to improve his game when he came to the NBA. Duncan, on the other hand, came in, dominated and posted 20-10 from the get-go. Furthermore, we all know the famous stat of the Spurs having the best winning record out of any team in any sport since Duncan came.

I was a math major in college and work with figures in my occupation.
But I can't figure out 228. You met TD on Feb 28?

Re: Spurs @ Suns Game 3 - Game Blog
Spurs points in the paint: 28 points
28 points out of 115 points in the paint. This team was damn good tonight.
