larry brown?

Unfortunately for the Suns, there's no easy way to go about this.
I think the Suns do have peices which will help them quickly regain a level of championship caliber play (Stoudmire, Bell, Diaw)
First, it's time for a new coach. I think D'Antoni is done. Unfortunately, it appears Nash is finally running out of gas. I'm sympathetic towards Nash, b/c he's always been such a fierce competitor. Shaq will be retired once his contract expires.
That should leave PHX with some flexibility in a couple of years. I would try to get a solid coach in next season and begin the rebuilding process. I don't think it's too late to have someone with a defensive philosphy expend those ideals to the younger core players.

It's too early to change. You can't bring in a star player in the middle of the season and expect to win that year, especially when integrating that player makes you change a lot of what you do. Next year, the Suns keeping their core players have a great shot at the title.
One thing the Suns ought to emulate from the Spurs is patience.

Yea lets get him the hell out of there.

That may be true, but the owner adamantly bought into the idea, along with everyone else that mattered. I doubt Kerr will be gone after his first year, which sucks, because with all of the Spur-hating announcers out there, it would be nice to have him back at the announcers table.

this is bad news for spurs fans
suns lose in a sweep
their coach is fired

Abundantly clear
"They play playoff basketball," Suns power forward Amare Stoudemire said in admiration of the Spurs, a team about to eliminate him from the postseason for the fourth time in his career. "It's plain and simple. There's no out-of-control plays. There's no shooting the ball within the first seconds. They take their time and make sure they get a basket. They make sure they get a good shot every time down. And that's how they win the title. You got to make sure you get a good shot every time down and you got to make sure you defend well. You can't stop all teams from scoring. Teams are going to score but they make sure they play solid defense out there and they get a good shot offensively every time down and that's how you win a title.
"They've got a strategy that they uphold."
.
A message to Amare. Come over to San Antonio. You can't grow more than you already have in PHX. Learn the Spurs system and Defence. Your talent won't be wasted on a run-and-gun team like PHX.

I'm just shocked how quickly everyone has seemingly jumped off the "exciting basketball" bandwagon. I guess the people defending it didn't actually believe in it.

The bad thing about this
its on ABC
i feel Suns will take it to make it interesting for the league.
just like the Nuggets will win Game 5
