He was laughing on the bench? I must have missed that. What about Tony and Manu? Did they look worried or anything like that?

Tim was laughing. Tony seemed pretty amused at something. Even Manu, as much as he hates losing, was smiling there.

Oh ok. I actually just found some pix of the three of them seating on the bench. They do look rather calm.
I also saw some pix of the Suns players laughing...Shaq/Raja/Amare on the bench basically smiling and laughing...

Yeah, and one of the commentators commented on how 'bad' that looked...

Well, what's even worse is that Shaq/Amare/Hill/Raja and the other Suns players were all laughing on the bench while they are down 3-1.

Duncan, after the game:
"We didn’t expect to sweep these guys,” Duncan said. “We’re excited in the situation we’re in, up 3-1. We’ve got to win one more game, and we get to go home and try to win it there. Those are a lot of things that are in our favor.”

Exactly. No one was expecting for the Suns not to fight. They've got pride. No team wants to be swept.
I think in today's game, it is not so much that the Spurs didn't play well, it's more like the Suns were playing out of their minds.

I'm not. I'm usually pissed or down after a Spurs loss, but not right now.

Re: Who's worried for the Spurs
I've come to learn that there are better things to worry about in life than a Spurs game.
In CIA I trust.

The SPURS did not contest shots, they did not play D, trust me, there is no way guys like RAJA and DIAW will have back to back games like that,
please beat the SUNS, I really need to see Shaq implode:rollin

Carina, that's actually the picture that I was talking about...the three of them looking rather calm.

Re: Who's worried for the Spurs
Not worried at all.
If we can't win 1/3 we don't deserve to advance, simple as that.
The real Spurs will reappear in game 5.

Exactly...if the Spurs can't win one of the three remaining games against the Suns, with two of them in SA, they wouldn't have gotten by the Hornets, Mavs, or Lakers, anyway.

I was a bit surprised when I saw Tim laugh and Tony and Manu smile. But seeing that makes me not worry so much for Game 5. As people have said, it's a missed opportunity. Pop will tear into them again and hopefully, they respond very well in Game 5.

this team has made us feel pain in some lows... it may go to 6...

Re: Who's worried for the Spurs
I'm worried, let's just close this out on Tuesday and get them some rest. The only good thing about this is I get to watch the Spurs play again but I'd gladly take moving on to the next round.

Not try, will win, Tim, WILL win! :)
Some positive things about the loss.
I get to boo the heck out of the Suns for one more game.
And I get to be there in person to see them sulk off defeated.
Then the Suns will have to have that long losers plane ride home.
All in all, not so bad. :lol

Re: Who's worried for the Spurs
The Spurs were in nice guy mode and letting Phoenix have a home win in the postseason, letting Nash have the opportunity to do a press conference, letting Shaq and Amare laugh and feel good on the bench...you know... throwing them a bone.
This series is so over tuesday night.

Re: Who's worried for the Spurs
I'm only "worried" because it means one more game that a player can get injured and less time for the players to rest before round 2. I actually look for a similar score in G5, except the teams are reversed - Spurs will dominate most of the game and it will be over long before it's actually over.

Exactly. The Spurs did exactly what they were supposed to do. Lay an egg in one game in Phoenix. Keep those people believing. Phoenix has to sell season tickets next year too. Spurs just helped them out.
