If Tim was an option, I am pretty sure Pop made them train that play at least a couple of times.
I am not saying Manu was so much better than Tony/Tim, I am saying that current result of this poll (2 votes for Manu vs 99 for Tony) makes no sense unless we only have short term memory.

this is not a popularity poll. This is a poll of who was the best player in the series. This clearly was either Tim or Tony. Manu is far behind.
Why would anyone vote for Manu then??

No doubt better than last year against the Suns.
Saying Manu didn't play as great as Tony or Duncan is not being hard on Manu imo... just being realistic.
He did a good job, 3 great games, an ok game and a bad one, but compared to Tony and Timy, he clearly was not that good in this series.
Go Spurs! :flag:

IMO the MVP for each PO series is always TIM DUNCAN. It's just taken for granted.

Parker was awesome but he only had to deal with Nash. come on
And Diaw... and Bell... and Barbosa... and double team... and triple team...

That's almost like saying there was nothing there. They might as well be two standing pillars there instead. :lol
Re: ++ ROUND ONE: Series MVP + +
MVP: Steve Kerr
He is still a Spur, he's just running black ops for us over there.
Re: ++ ROUND ONE: Series MVP + +
TP and TD were both great but this is a team effort. The little things that the Spurs do to win games are done by the team. Case in point - Bowen's play on Nash in games 3 & 5 were very instrumental in the Spurs series win. We probably lose last night if Nash is anywhere near his average.
