What's the deal with the giant Peja head?
I noticed that when they play in New Orleans, they have "cheerleaders" that run around with a giant picture of Peja's head on a stick.
What's up with that?

Re: What's the deal with the giant Peja head?
It's just something they do. Just like the annoying "WHOOOOO" they do everytime Chris Paul scores.

Re: What's the deal with the giant Peja head?
Peja-on-a-stick
LOL!
Like the corn on the cob at Fiesta Texas.

Re: What's the deal with the giant Peja head?
They used to bring big bricks on the game

Re: What's the deal with the giant Peja head?
Peja heads come out when peja hits a three

Re: What's the deal with the giant Peja head?
The Peja heads are hilarious to me. I'm not sure if it's the smile on his face or the fact that someone is running around with it jumping up and down.
Nevertheless, it's one of the reasons why I love going to Hornets games. Their PR department gets an A+ from me for the way they immerse the crowd during timeouts, during big plays, etc.

They dont do it after every 3 but when it is a huge clutch 3 out come the heads. Great to get the crowd into it. I really have to give the Hornets organization props this year for being a great place to go and enjoy yourself.

Re: What's the deal with the giant Peja head?
parker's rap song should play everytime he makes a layup

Right.
Seriously, when do the heads come out?
-
Re: What's the deal with the giant Peja head?
Are there any tourist bus tours of the 9th ward?
Where are the best monuments to FEMA and Brownie?
Do displaced blacks make a hajj-type pilgrimage to NO? during Mardi Gras?
Is voodoo still NO's first religion?
We are going to learn so much about NO culture during this series!

Okay, I'll be intently watching to see when Peja becomes clutch.

Re: What's the deal with the giant Peja head?
Sadly there where bus tours to the Ninth ward, but its all open field now and we all know west texas has tons of that.
The best Monuments to FEMA?? Check out our new levees and pumps.
Black pilgrimage?? Many residents do come back, and many others have found better lives in other places. Most of the people are back.
Voodoo is a religion and is still practiced, but mostly tourists go to the Voodoo museums and Marie Laveux's grave to mark an X. Hoodoo is the magic and spells most people think about. Like sprinkiling red brick dust and voodoo dolls.
I know you where being a wise-ass but hey there are no stupid questions just ........
THE HEADS COME OUT EVERY TIME PEJA SHOOTS A THREE OR MAKES FOUL SHOTS.

It's fun, and if there's anything New Orleanians know about, it's how to have a good time!

Re: What's the deal with the giant Peja head?
My favorite part of Hornets games is when Peja dunks the ball, and those same guys carrying the Peja heads come out wearing cotton pj's and dunk the ball off trampolines.
Pe-Jamas! It's really hilarious to see live.

Re: What's the deal with the giant Peja head?
^ Ok. I'm now thoroughly convinced there are no real Hornets fans in here.

I liked it.
We actually had the same policy when Peja played for the Pacers, except he never actually hit an important shot that half-season...

Re: What's the deal with the giant Peja head?
a GIANT bowen head should be around everytime he blocks chris pauls shot....
-
Re: What's the deal with the giant Peja head?
The AT&T center should hand out giant Tim Duncan heads to the crowd in game 3.
