I guess that people from other teams are voting as well. If this poll'd be among Spurs fans only Manu and Sean would be much higher.

Leaving Manu or Tony off the list is so incredibly difficult as to be almost impossible.
They have meant more to the Spurs actually winning the rings than either Gervin or Elliott.
I think as Tony and Manu finish their career in San Antonio, it will be only that much more difficult to leave them out of the best ever to suit up in silver and black. And they will probably both edge out Elliott off the top 5 list. Even given his heroics of playing with a bad kidney, but really he was only a part of one championship run. I'm sad to say it, but Manu and Parker have earned the right to be in the top 5.

Not that it really matter much but it's kind of interesting though Manu is the only one on that list (other than Mitchell) that isn't a two time All Star or anything. I think he still has a little bit of time :).

USAToday listing Robertson, Kenon and Mitchell but not Bowen is a joke. Bowen and Elliott are the sixth and seventh best players in Spurs history. It's tough saying who is better but I think Bowen gets the nod due to the championships.

And I find it rather interesting that some people even here are not choosing Manu in the top five. How is that possible? I don't know.
Because a lot of us choose to give George Gervin his proper respect by putting him in the top five. The guy is in the Hall of Fame, won 4 scoring titles, made 5 All-NBA first teams and was a 12-time all-star. He also was the face of this franchise for the first 15 years of its existence and a big reason why the Spurs stayed in SA and was brought into the NBA.Quote:
