this shall be interesting
If they call the game tight, Spurs get eliminated.
Javie on the road is the absolute best you can hope for.
No excuses.
Win.
Ah, this is the best you can ask for if you're the Spurs. Javie seems to favor road teams. But we shouldn't rely on the refs to get the Spurs a win, it's all about playing solid ball.
False confidence will get you nowhere. The Lakers aren't about to start losing at home to these Spurs. Have a nice summer and while you are fishing, try and catch a free agent or two cuz Kurt Thomas didn't work out, buddy.
Oh great and I got no fucking vbookie bank.... can I get a line of credit?
good crew. that said, we need to come out and hit the lakers in the mouth and take this game. this needs to be a 20 point win for us. nothing close. i hope to see that passion and fire tonight and i hope barry gets the start.
I don't give a shit about the refs. Tonight we have just one goal, and thats to win a game, and not to whine about the refs.
In my opinion, the league owes us one.
Go Spurs.
javie.
YES.
Barry in the starting five is the key to victory. also i wouldnt mind putting Kurt rather than Horry for a change. hell grab rebounds and let no one get to the hole easy
Is the league trying to make up to the Spurs?
The league wants a game 7. Its so transparent....
How about we just win by a big enough margin that the refs aren't a topic of discussion after the game. That would be nice.
how's javie from behind the arc....better than 30%
:lmao
As I saw who will be the refs I loled
Cause I wanted to post excactly those three refs just after info of the det-bos series came out
Fuck I didn't :bang
No - FromWayDowntown called this lineup after Game 3. It's no conspiracy (just as J. Crawford for game 4 was no conspiracy) - it's the regular rotation scheme the league uses for officials in the post-season.
If the Spurs win tonight, Bavetta will be crew chief for Game 6.
I do expect that the Spurs will be the recipient of more favorable calls than usually happens in the Staples Center, but they still have to play well. The Lakers aren't going to play apologetically as the Spurs did in Game 5 against the Suns last year. They're going to fight for the elimination game and rest.
I have no prediction about this. I guess if I think the league is fixing it, their focus now is not on LA/Celtics so much as at least a game 6 for the WCF. Then it'll depend on how the ECF goes, whether the Celtics close out or choke.
I am detached from this, because thinking about it makes me too angry for coherent sentences.
The ref just have to aply the rules. Spurs have to get REBOUNDS.
Rebounds, that´s the main factor. And scoring points, of course.
Very simple...right? :rolleyes
Spurs by 15 tonight. Book it.
After hating Javie for so many years with his unexplained grudge towards Robinson, I can't believe I am happy to see him as a ref.
Javie on the road, perfect, Spurs win Game 5.
