Re: Humble petition for bravatars...
Have they ever actually worked or done anything?

We had them for Games 6 and 7 of the Hornets series. Did the Spurs win?
When we had them in 2006, they did a lot - they raised tons of money for breast cancer research, which was the purpose.

Re: Humble petition for bravatars...
forget bravatars..
lets do thongvatars.

That's very cool; much better than superstitious victory methods. :toast
Well, whatever works for some I suppose. Cool about the research money, though.

Re: Humble petition for bravatars...
It's just a camaraderie thing among some of the girls that we used for good. If anyone doesn't like it, they don't have to talk down about it. A lot of girls won't participate anymore because of the many guys nagging about it. It's lame.

Re: Humble petition for bravatars...
What had me almost make a thread earlier today is this:
Bravatars came on too late. You guys put them on in that series correct? Way too late.
When in the 05 run did the appear? At all last year? Was it SpursWoman who did the pincushion thing before?
We need to be ready for 09, no more of this bullshit.

Re: Humble petition for bravatars...
Im sure the reason the spurs are successful is because of the women at spurstalk's boobs.

Speaking of peaks...the summit of Mt. Everest was reached for the first time by Sir Edmond Hillary on May 29, 1953.
I'm just sayin'...

Re: Humble petition for bravatars...
I know it hasnt been discussed and I haven't taken part in a bravatar this season, but if the Spurs win tonight I will make another donation to the Komen Foundation like in 2006. Can't afford much since I just paid my taxes last month :dizzy but I will make a small donation.
I don't even care if they win the series. Just as long as they win today. They just can't go out like that.
Anyone else willing to do so?

Tell ya what- I dislike the spurs very much, but I hate cancer much, much more. It won't be a big donation, but if the Spurs win I'll kick in a few bucks.
Although since I'm rooting for LA maybe I should do the reverse and base my pledge on San Antonio losing. I'll decide by gametime.

Re: Humble petition for bravatars...

I will absolutely donate!
But no bravatar. I got too uncomfortable with it last time, and the comments this time around don't ease that for me. Props to all of you who are rocking them for the Spurs though!!!

Re: Humble petition for bravatars...
Ooops! No bra.
Make no mistake about it, though, I love what you have going on here. Keep up the good work.
