Lakers have gotten the best of us at times. But there are a few things i'll be proud of and it's something Lakers will never have.
The spurs ability to take nobody's and turn them into somebody's. Sure any team can just go out there and sign or trade big stars (very cheaply like the lakers did) and win a championship (which lakers haven't yet). But The Spurs signed Manu and Tony late in the draft and look at who they are now. Multiple ring Winners.
When we ended LA's run in 2003, Kobe and Fisher cried like little bitches, When Spurs lost last night, they took it like men and complimented and said lakers were simply the better team.
So Yeah go bask in all your glory laker fans, where 80% of your fanbase are bandwagoners, Hating Kobe Bryant one year then kissing his ass and campaigning him for mvp the next. I'll gladly take my PoDunk Texas San Antonio Spurs Anyway :)
