I think it's fair to say, when Duncan sucks, he still puts up stellar numbers, which proves how unique he is.
He wasn't as effective as he has been at various times in the past, but he was still a load.
He's always a joy to watch, both for his talent and his relentless competitiveness.
I'm not sure what to even tell you if you honestly believe this. Championships aren't won by a single player. If Duncan had more help on offense, teams wouldn't have been able to pack it in on him. There's a reason teams double teamed him more than ever this postseason. It's up to his teammates to make the open shots out of his passes to make them pay.Quote:

I'm going to have to agree with this. Tim's play after the 1st quarter REALLY dissapointed me. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Poor game from our guys tonight, from top to bottom. Just a really crummy way to end the season.Quote:

Duncan did great... It just makes me wonder why we're paying some of these other guys millions of dollars when they can't hit WIDE OPEN jumpshots.

I'm just very dissapointed in how flat we came out in the 2nd quarter, that quarter was where we lost the game. One of the main culprits in that quarter was Tim, he was not aggressive enough then. Or in the 4th for that matter.
We don't have 2003-2007 Tim anymore. Tim can't will us to wins anymore without substantial help. He had no such help tonight from Tony or Manu, especially Manu.
Bottom line: a lot of things went wrong in tonight's game and Tim's shooting struggles were only a part of it.
