The Spurs didn't go in 2005, as far as I can remember. Who knows if they'll go this year.
So when do we go to DC to give Bush his 3rd Spurs Jersay?
The Spurs didn't go in 2005, as far as I can remember. Who knows if they'll go this year.
Why not?
As far as I remember, it was scheduled and then the President ended up having to cancel/re-schedule. Then, the Spurs never re-scheduled. I'm not sure exactly what happened.
Oh, okay. I thought it was maybe a Rasheed-Bush, Mark Chmura-Clinton sort of deal.

Bush is usually on vacation the whole summer so I doubt he will have time to take care of meeting the Spurs
STFU
i posted it after everyone answered.
There is so much brush to clear in crawford, you cant really blame him
Man that would suck. That was one of the things I was looking forward to.
Watching the Spurs takes a lot of mental effort, so he might not even be aware they won the championship.
The advisory commitee that oversaw the Iraqi War decision advised him on the outcome of the series. He is meeting to congratulate the Cavs this afternoon.
Fixed to make it funnier.
You would think that he is from Texas he would have maybe a special interest. Do any of you guys happen to know what team he actually follows in Tx? I remember the year the Ravens went to the SB and someone asked him would he be rooting for them since they were from Baltimore, I remember him emphatically saying "NO". lol
After reading this thread I suppose we know who all the democrats are now...![]()
Well, almost everyone hates Bush now, except the people in Deliverance and the national media.
REPORTER 1: You're not going to Athens this week, are you?
DUBYA: Athens, Texas?
REPORTER 1: Ol -- the Olympics, in Greece.
DUBYA: Oh, the Olympics? No, I'm not.
REPORTER 2: Have you been watching them?
DUBYA: Oh, yeah, yeah, it's been exciting.
REPORTER 2: Any particular moment stand out?
DUBYA: Umm -- particular moment? I like the -- let's see -- uhhhm -- Iraqi soccer. I liked -- I liked seein' the Afghan woman carryin' the flag comin' in. I loved, uhh -- you know, our gymnasts. I've been watching the swimming. I like th' -- I've seen a lot, yeah. Listen, thank you all. --8/23/04, Crawford Texas
An underrated comic genius.
My favorite Bush Quote is still
"Is our children learning?"
How in the world did this innocent little thread turn all political all of the sudden?![]()
Bush will proceed to congratulate the San Antonio Spurs, and mention that it is such an accomplishment that a team from Mexico was able to be NBA champion.
