Cubby lost two toes to chicken pox
Cubby's the only one to get chicken pox every couple of years.
Confirmed...Andrew Bynum has never had the Chicken Pox. Ron Artest isn't sure if he's ever had the Chicken Pox. They could have been exposed.
Also, just because you have had it before, doesn't ensure that you won't get a case of shingles. The pox stays with you forever but stays dormant, unless there is something that affects it, then it flames up and hurts like .
David Robinson had Shingles a few times during his days with the Spurs. I seem to recall he had it one time during a Spurs playoff run.
Magic Johnson also had Shingles during the season opener in 1985.
Damn, hopefully the Spurs don't get infected tonight![]()
Kobe Bryant, Ron Artest, and Andrew Bynum have never had the Chicken Pox. They could have been exposed. Laker Reporter was actually reporting this as a good thing but was then told by his producer to say,"Let's just hope they had their shots."
It's that contagious.
I've figured it out!!!
Steve Blake is a Deep Cover Covert Sleeper Agent sent by both The Portland Trail Blazers and The Los Angeles Clippers on a mission to infiltrate the most powerful organization in the NBA and take them down from the inside.

I can just imagine Samuel L Jackson from Pulp fiction saying "Vaccine MOTHER ER! Do you TAKE IT!"

Steve Blake has chicken pox. The Lakers hope he's the only one who gets it.
Kobe Bryant, Andrew Bynum and Ron Artest have never had the contagious illness. It takes about two weeks for signs to show. It was not immediately clear if they have had vaccines for the illness.
The rest of the Lakers have had chicken pox. It is rare for people to get the illness if they've already had it.
Blake, a reserve guard, was diagnosed Tuesday and will miss one to two weeks. He did not play Tuesday against San Antonio. He had a fever Monday and sat in with the team on a video session.
His wife, Kristen, provided some background on his condition with some updates on her Twitter account.
"And before anyone asks NO my kids didn't give it to him," she wrote. "They were vaccinated and are healthy. No clue where or how Steve got chicken pox.... I'll have him healthy and back in no time."
The Blakes have three young sons.
Salt Blake...the effect could grow.
