lakers basically gift wrapped this game and this series to those green s ..... should have been a damn sweep
Good times.
Other then the pampering of Kream, the refs let this one play out.
lakers basically gift wrapped this game and this series to those green s ..... should have been a damn sweep
It was a men's league back then
today's NBA
Game 2 hurts more than Games 4 and 7. Worthy you son of a .
You may have swept them, but if not for Worthy's mistake it wouldnt have been a epic series
yeah, 2 and 4 were the ones ...... all they had to do in game 2 was inbound the ball and let the C's foul them. The clock would have ran out if they didn't. Really erased a great game by Worthy. In game 4, you can't be up by five with 59 seconds on the clock and have possession of the ball and lose. Still probably the toughest loss for me as a fan.
If took 1985 to finally get off the mat and taking a constant turd stomp from those bas s ....... they got rid of those ghosts the following year which was nice. Clinching a le on the parquet floor.
That, and the hook shot in 1987. But sometimes, I still can't get over it. 1984 and 85 could and should have been a back-to-back.
Lenny Bias stays alive and you Laker WWF Fans don't sniff another le.
probably true.
Makes you hate crack / cocaina that much more right?
best part of da playoff dat year was spurs not makin the cut
That's when the Celtics believed heartily that they'd destroyed Magic which was their intent in that circa. They knew he was key and if he wasn't destroyed as they'd destroyed West, et al he'd/Magic would be their downfall.
Magic, instead of crawling into the corner as West had done went on a 100-game grailed quest that culminated a year later in Massachusetts when he grabbed Worthy & Kareem by hand and dragged them out from the corner and made them act like somebody. That's what Fisher did to Kobe in '10: dragged him out of the dark and into the light...13 down, fourth quarter..."Stop whining, go down into the paint and go to work. Stop whining!"
Kobe dropped the game face, spotted the finish line and broke for it. You know who else broke for it that day? Rondo, oh yeah. Kobe persevered of course.
It was shattering.
defenses purposely leaving DJ and Magic wide open at the FT line
no respect
yesterday’s nba
