The Spurs FO never make decisions in a one year vaccuum.

Am I correct in assuming that the Spurs have very little options next summer in terms of reloading? And that this summer's signings will essentially cons ute the roster between now and summer of 2010. In other words, they're looking to build a team this summer that will compete for a le this year and next and then reset in 2010.

That's pretty much the general feeling around here. 2010 will be hectic. Depending on what happens this summer, we might add a few small pieces next summer but there probably won't be any big signings until 2010, not by the spurs anyways.
