I've read reports about protests popping up and was wondering if these kinds of things have a chance to get bigger?

Are American's too unwilling to fight for something that the vast majority of them oppose? Will they just let this thing go by without any backlash? Are they that trusting of our elected officials?

I don't know about y'all... but honestly if somebody had organized a local rally or something against this thing, i'd most likely attend.

Whether it's for the better of the economy or not, I feel that this thing is just so dirty and ty that they need to hear and see just how pissed the populous is about this thing.

Well, I'd reckon it's the fact that a trillion dollars of taxpayer money is being used.

Even though this thing may work or may return a profit... I still think it's a bad decision and something I just can't get a good feeling about, no matter how many times it's said that it's absolutely necessary.

Well, if the polls are to be believed, the bailout itself isn't opposed by a vast majority of the people -- but I'm not sure everyone knows enough about it. I certainly don't have the details of what was discussed today.

We were talking about this stuff at work today too. Our final question was, "what will it take for revolution"?

Will Americans ever get pissed off enough to do anything about the joke that is our government?

We never came to a conclusion..............which was sort of ironic I thought.

Hmmm, I guess I should put the word "ironic" in bold next time to prove my point even more.

Then again, I've been drinking beer for the last three hours so who knows if I made the point or not.

I dont think we're at the point now for revolution.. .but if things continue to slide and washington continues to fail us... then things get serious.

I think society needs leaders to unite them in their causes. People are generally afraid to do things first and need some sort of starting point. If things got really bad, I honestly think that an extremely charismatic person to organize mass rally's and protests would be able to get things started.
