would an average of the bcs rankings be more fair?

to everyone who is unsatisfied with the bcs, as i am too, would not an avg of the bcs standing for each team be a more fair way to evaluate who gets to go to the big 12 champ? i mean that way it kinda mitigates to a smaller degree the emotional voters who jump on bandwagons each week. also forces the decision to look more closely at the whole year and not just the last month, or the first month or in this case the last game.

that being said, i think a year like this in the big 12 is a bit of a fluke and that more often or not, there will be amore clear winner. at worst a two way tie.

What's wrong with the BCS this year? I'm shocked that they got the rankings right. The poll got it completely wrong.
